Light Opera Works will present COLE PORTER'S GREATEST HITS today, October 3 through 12 at the Nichols Concert Hall in Evanston.

?Due to popular demand, a seventh show has been added to Betty Buckley's weeklong run at Joe's Pub at The Public - October 7-11, 2014. The stage and screen star will perform new music to celebrate her new album Ghostlight (September 16, Palmetto Records), which was produced by her longtime friend and fellow music legend T Bone Burnett.

This year's Los Angeles Philharmonic classical season at the Hollywood Bowl opens with famed violinist and Bowl favorite Joshua Bell performing with close friends and special guests Glenn Close, Frankie Moreno, Philippe Quint and Time for Three in a concert led by another Bowl favorite, Bramwell Tovey, tonight, July 8, at 8 pm.

The reading will star Karen Mason -- Drama Desk-nominated Broadway star of Wonderland, Mamma Mia and Sunset Boulevard, as well as a prolific concert and recording artist -- and be directed by Dan Knechtges (Lysistrata Jones, Tony Award nominee for Xanadu choreography). The show has music by Rhonda Kess, and lyrics by Rhonda Kess and Dale Kiken and a book by Dale Kiken. The reading will take place on Wednesday, July 9 at 3:00 PM and Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 PM at The New 42nd Street Studios (229 West 42nd Street). The Old Globe today announced that San Diego musical artists The Midnight Pine and Stevie Harris have joined the lineup for the Globe's one-night-only Jeff Buckley Tribute Concert on Monday, Aug. 19 at 7:00 p.m. The concert, which features several prominent local artists covering the songs of the legendary musician, coincides with the Globe's upcoming production of The Last Goodbye, a fusion of Buckley's music with Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

The Old Globe will present a one-night-only Jeff Buckley Tribute Concert on Monday, Aug. 19 at 7:00 p.m. that will feature several prominent San Diego artists covering the songs of the legendary musician.
