Opera is for everyone-and so is Seattle Opera's 2017/18 season! There's a new bilingual performance for elementary-school students, new performance venues such as Georgetown Steam Plant, a new mainstage collaboration with ACT Theatre and Seattle Symphony leaders, and even an outdoor performance offered free of charge. Regardless of background or socioeconomic status, this season offers ways for a broad audience to be able to experience opera; it's an open invitation for the Pacific Northwest. 

Walnut Street Theatre's 2016-2017 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with one of Neil Simon's funniest plays, Last of the Red Hot Lovers. Philadelphia audiences will be the first to see this production before it becomes the seventh national tour of a Walnut Street Theatre production.

Entering its eighth season in 2016-17, CONTACT!, the Philharmonic's new-music series, will return to National Sawdust in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, for two chamber programs featuring New York-area composers. This season of CONTACT!complements the Philharmonic's 175th anniversary season celebrations, which highlight the Orchestra's rich history of commissioning and premiering important works and salute its hometown of New York City. Esa-Pekka Salonen, who is in the second year of his three-year tenure as the Philharmonic's Marie-Josee Kravis Composer-in-Residence, continues his advisory role on CONTACT!.

Music Director Alan Gilbert will conduct the New York Philharmonic in the World Premiere of Pulitzer Prize winner Wynton Marsalis's The Jungle (Symphony No. 4), commissioned by the Philharmonic as the first of The New York Commissions, with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis; William Bolcom's Trombone Concerto with Principal Trombone Joseph Alessi as soloist; and Copland's Quiet City, featuring Principal Trumpet Christopher Martin and English horn player Grace Shryock in her Philharmonic solo debut.

Two time Grammy-nominated, festival-storming trio Highly Suspect, are returning with second album The Boy Who Died Wolf on November 18th.

With the setting being a small Indiana town in 1983 and the cause of Will's disappearance being linked to sightings of an alien-like monster, critics are calling this one the perfect combination of Stephen Spielberg and Stephen King, and rightfully so.

Jon Bon Jovi has been making the world that much more special with his music for more than thirty years, and the listening party on October 20th to promote his newest album proved that he isn't quite finished rocking it yet. With over 15 years of NYC training, having acted in over 40 shows on the NY Stage, as well as TV, Film and Soap Opera credits, pretty much everyone who knows Dennis, knows he's an actor. What most don't know, however, is that Dennis is also an accomplished fine artist.
