The producing team of Broadway Actress/Indie Producer Ashley Kate Adams (La Cage Au Folles, The Anthem) and Broadway Producer Jim Kierstead (Kinky Boots, Indecent) will premieretheir new movie ACE at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival on Saturday, February 24th. This short drama about sexual identity, first love and social norms that takes place among college friends, was written and directed by newcomer Jordan Gear and stars Jonathan Lipnicki, the former child actor from Jerry Maguire.

American Composers Orchestra (ACO) announces two performances presented by Carnegie Hall in Zankel Hall during the 2018-2019 season. In 2018-2019, under the leadership of Artistic Director Derek Bermel, Music Director George Manahan, and President Edward Yim, ACO continues its commitment to the creation, performance, preservation, and promotion of music by American composers, with programming that reflects the infinite ways American orchestral music illustrates geographic, stylistic, gender, and racial diversity. Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, producer and actress Lari White Cannon who made her Broadway debut in the Johnny Cash musical review Ring of Fire died early this morning in Nashville after a battle with peritoneal cancer. She was 52 years old.

There is a common expression thrown about whenever discussing Asbury Park and its environs (including Ocean Grove) . Street Theatre Company continues its 2017 season with its production of Andrew Lippa's John and Jen - the sentimental and evocative tale of two siblings - starring Ryan Lynch and Jordan Scott in the eponymous roles, under the direction of Brett Myers.

Though all of Harvey Granat's midday events are illuminating and entertaining, his most recent SONGS AND STORIES on March 16 at 92Y could've easily continued at least another half hour buoyed by audience enthusiasm. The event's special guests, author/producer/journalist Will Friedwald (who has his own 92Y series), and President of Jimmy Van Heusen's catalog, his great nephew, Brook Babcock, were both knowledgeable, engaging raconteurs. It was also a great pleasure to watch the two men join infectiously enjoying the afternoon.

Sirota, who also happens to be a physicist by trade, scrutinizes the changing nature of love in 'Your Name On My Lips,' a new musical about a young artist who fights to hold on to his soulmate as the materialistic world tugs at her. Actor, singer, playwright and film historian Charles Busch is a multi-talented artist who has won many awards over the course of  his varied career. Remembered for his plays Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, Psycho Beach Party and Die! Mommie Die!, the latter two having been translated to film, Busch never ceases to amaze with his unique style of creativity. On March 13 and 14 he is bringing his act That Girl/That Boy to Rockwell Table and Stage.
