San Francisco North Bay theater artists gathered Monday night at the Juncture Taproom and Lounge in Santa Rosa for the Third Annual Marquee Theater Journalists Association Awards. Seventeen awards were given to local theatre artists and productions whose nominations were culled from the sixty-six Sonoma County productions attended by members from September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2018.

Due to popular demand, Alexandra Burke and Duncan James will extend their runs in CHICAGO at the Phoenix Theatre. Alexandra Burke will play Roxie Hart until 10 November 2018 and Duncan James will play Billy Flynn until 17 November 2018. Laura Tyrer will play Velma Kelly until 20 October followed by Josefina Gabrielle who returns to the role of Velma Kelly from 22 October - 5 January 2019.

Westport Country Playhouse will present an open-caption performance in Spanish of the Tony Award-winning musical "Man of La Mancha," on Saturday, October 13, at 3 p.m. This is the first time in the Playhouse's history that an open-caption performance in a language other than English will be offered. An open-caption screen with the Spanish translation in real time will be located at the side of the stage and visible by all members of the audience.

Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum revs up Labor Day this summer by partnering with Harley-Davidson for its 115 th Anniversary Celebration. Held in Milwaukee from Wednesday, August 29 to Sunday, September 2, the festival includes five full days of festivities and plays host to an exclusive mobile museum featuring the outside-the-lines work of biker and tattoo artist Norman "Sailor Jerry" Collins, the American-made rum's namesake. Spike TV's "Ink Master" star Oliver Peck will be onsite during the festival, giving a limited number of free Sailor Jerry flash art tattoos to lucky attendees, the art selected at random from his famous gumball machine. The San Diego Symphony has announced its complete lineup for its Jazz @ The Jacobs and City Lights series for the 2018-19 season.
