May 26, 2015 - (Becket, MA) Following the critical acclaim and record-breaking attendance of Festival 2014, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival opens its 2015 season in June. Highlights of Festival 2015 include Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host, a special dance and radio stage production starring Ira Glass, host of This American Life; the return of Nederlands Dans Theater 2; the world premiere of American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Daniil Simkin's INTENSIO; Cuban contemporary ensemble Malpaso Dance Company, performing with GRAMMY Award-winning pianist and composer Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble; and the launch of Martha Graham Dance Company's 90th Anniversary, including a world premiere by eminent choreographer Mats Ek.

The Off-Broadway League has announced details for the 2015 Lucille Lortel Awards, which will celebrate 30 years of recognizing Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The 30th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards will be handed out on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the NYU Skirball Center, beginning at 7:00 PM EST. The program will be co-hosted by Emmy Award Nominees Jesse Tyler Ferguson ("Modern Family") and Anna Chlumsky ("Veep," Broadway's upcoming "Living on Love").

The World Premiere of AFFLUENCE by playwright Steven Peterson is a pitch-dark comedy that may cause one to reflect on the true meaning of wealth. The play was the winner of the 2013 Julie Harris Playwright Award of the Beverly Hills Theatre Guild, now onstage at Theatre 40 through October 20, directed by Larry Eisenberg and produced by David Hunt Stafford, their first stage collaboration in their 40 year friendship. Pianist Shai Wosner, recognized for his exceptional artistry, musical integrity and creative insight, returns to the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center to perform in a program of Brahms's late solo and chamber works. The program opens with the Trio in A Minor for Clarinet, Cello, and Piano, Op. 114, and Sonata in D Minor for Violin and Piano, Op. 108, for which Mr. Wosner is joined by David Shifrin on clarinet, Timothy Eddy on cello, and Erin Keefe on violin. Mr. Wosner then performs two solo works, the Intermezzo in E-flat Major for Piano, Op. 117, No. 1, and Rhapsody in E-flat Major for Piano, Op. 119, No. 4. The program also includes the Quintet in B minor for Clarinet, Two Violins, Viola, and Cello, Op. 115. The performance takes place on Tuesday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Alice Tully Hall.
