GET READY TO ROCK! As featured in Hudson Valley magazine, The Poughkeepsie Journal, and Chronogram magazine...Three bands will headline on one center stage in a landmark event for Beacon: 'Super Rock' legends The Fleshtones; Grammy-nominated recording artist and performer,
Tracy Bonham; and Brooklyn-based alt-country jam band, Yarn. Local 845 is producing Beacon Riverfest 2010 in partnership with the Beacon Arts Community Association (BACA) and the City of Beacon in Beacon, New York's renovated Riverfront Park. Free and open to the public, the event will be held on Saturday, June 26, from 2pm to dusk-rain or shine.

Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, along with the City of Saint Paul, Landmark Center, The Saint Paul Hotel, Pazzaluna, Minnesota State Arts Board, Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, and the Saint Paul Public Library system enthusiastically announce the free Summer Dance program, a weekly social dance event at Landmark Plaza.

Actress Lynn Redgrave has passed away at the age of 67 according to her publicist, Rick Miramontez. Redgrave, who had battled breast cancer, died Sunday night in her apartment at the age of 67.
