A Tale of Two Cities and Les Misérables 'Sweethearts,' Barbra Russell and Ron Sharpe, return to Sarasota's Asolo Rep for a special concert. Florida audiences will remember the couple as the dedicated producers of A Tale of Two Cities, the hit musical that went on to Broadway after its World Premiere Asolo Rep production in 2007.

This March, the CAP21 Theatre Company opens its new theatre with a production of The Daughters , a new musical by Shaina Taub, will be the debut production of the CAP21 Theatre Company in its new state-of-the-art black box theatre. Now occupying two floors, the CAP21 facility features 2 performance spaces - the new Black Box Theatre in addition to The Shop, plus a total of 17 rehearsal studios.

Producers Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh are pleased to announce that Steffanie Leigh will star as 'Mary Poppins' in the North American tour of MARY POPPINS. Leigh, who previously understudied the title role in the touring production, replaces Caroline Sheen, who will play her final performance in Omaha at the Orpheum Theatre on Sunday, February 6th. Leigh officially takes over the role in Omaha on Tuesday, February 8th before the show arrives at the Opera House in Boston on Thursday, February 17th for a limited engagement of five weeks through March 20th. The opening night is Friday, February 18th at 8pm. The Boston engagement of MARY POPPINS is presented by arrangement with Broadway Across America - Boston and is a subscription offering of the Lexus Boston Area Dealers Broadway Across America - Boston Series. Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) presents the World Premiere of A SMALL FIRE, a new play by Obie Award winner Adam Bock (The Drunken City at PH, The Receptionist, The Thugs, Swimming in the Shallows). Directed by Trip Cullman (Adam Bock's The Drunken City at PH and Swimming in the Shallows, plus Bachelorette, Some Men, The Last Sunday in June, the recent Edgewise, Adam Rapp's upcoming The Hallway Trilogy) the production will close Sunday, January 23 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).
