Theatre Royal Bath today announces four additional productions - Vienna 1934-Munich 1938, The Life I Lead, Trying It On and The Man in the White Suit, to complete its Summer Season 2019 programme and further casting with Katherine Parkinson, Janie Dee as well as Vanessa Redgrave, Miles Jupp and David Edgar among the stars set to take to the stage in both treasured classics and acclaimed new works.

The Apollo Theater Salon Series in partnership with Dr. Barbara Ann Teer's National Black Theatre (NBT) will present WiLDFLOWER, the staged concert reading of the full-length musical with book, music and lyrics by Jason Michael Webb and Lelund Durond Thompson. The performance, directed by Logan Vaughn and starring Broadway stars Tshidi Manye (The Lion King) and Quentin Earl Darrington (Once on this Island), will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27, on the Apollo Theater Soundstage.

As part of their 50th anniversary celebration, the community theatre JAKARTA PLAYERS (JP) is producing LONGING FOR LOVE, a presentation of five one-act plays. The show will take place on May 24-26 at Institut Francais d'Indonesie, Thamrin, Jakarta.

The Center for the Arts at George Mason University announced today the 2019/2020 season of Great Performances at Mason, its annual series featuring leading national and international artists in the disciplines of classical music, opera, jazz, ballet, modern dance, theater, and global music and dance. Welcome to Theatre Under The Stars 50th Anniversary Season Gala, an incredible and intimate celebration this past Saturday, March 23rd with Broadway star Idina Menzel and more than 600 TUTS family and friends. Many guests said it was the "best gala" they had ever attended. The gorgeous event designed by Taylor DeMartino of Blooming Gallery not only turned The Post Oak Hotel grand ballroom into a supper club "under the stars" that night, but guests experienced the magic of live musical theatre while supporting a great cause. A private meet and greet with Menzel was given to top sponsors along with gifts donated by David Peck. This historic event raised more funds than any other Gala in TUTS history - $1.37 million for "Houston's Home for Musical Theatre".

The Albany Symphony today announced the 2019 American Music Festival, Sing Out! New York, a bold two-weekend national festival and regional tour of musical performances and new art happenings, taking place in renowned concert venues in Troy and in public parks throughout New York State's Capital Region.  Sing Out! New York kicks off on Thursday, May 30 with First Draughts Reading Session & Beer Tasting and runs through Sunday, June 2 in Troy, then embarks on a four-concert tour of the greater Capital Region on Thursday, June 6,2019.

The Burlington Discover Jazz Festival announces the first round of headliners for the 36th annual event happening this May 31-June 9, 2019.
