Greg Behrendt, author of bestselling relationship books He's Just Not That Into You, It's Just a F***ing Date, and How to Keep Your Marriage From Sucking, is back with over an hour of top notch comedy recorded live at Acme Comedy Company in Minneapolis.  Behrendt brings his hilarious stories and observations to the stage explaining why sobriety isn't for everyone, what makes parenting so different in the 21st Century, and how to handle a friend that you hate.  Why Are You In Here? offers reassurance for those imperfect parenting moments and hearty laughs even Behrendt's teenaged daughters would appreciate.

Hide the Moon and the Stars, the sublime new duo recording from pianist Bryn Roberts and guitarist Lage Lund, isn't the kind of jazz album that needs to be read about before it can be understood and enjoyed. It didn't premiere as part of a postmodern opera or multimedia performance; there isn't an overarching concept gleaned from abstract expressionism or the poetry of Rumi. Rather, with its casually stunning interplay and lyrical original music, it's “simply a good showcase for these two particular players, these two voices, these two musical personalities who've been friends for over a dozen years,” Roberts says.

Portland Playhouse kicks off its 11th Season with Will Eno's Wakey, Wakey. Written during Eno's five year residency at New York's Signature Theatre Company, Wakey, Wakey asks What are we here for? This January, international award-winning actor and comedian Chris Tucker will take over the Encore Theater for his Wynn Las Vegas debut. For one-night-only, Tucker will bring his standup talents to the stage in two back-to-back performances on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. PDT.

Chicago Shakespeare Theater presents the North American premiere of Jessica Swale's exuberant new comedy Nell Gwynn, September 20-November 4, 2018. The music- and dance-filled play took London audiences by storm when it debuted at Shakespeare's Globe, followed by a celebrated run on the West End. Director of the original London production, Christopher Luscombe, helms the new Chicago Shakespeare production. Star of Broadway and the West End Scarlett Strallen appears as Nell; Chicago leading actor Timothy Edward Kane performs the role of King Charles II.

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants, a lifestyle brand centered around food and wine, has announced their second wine collaboration with Chef Tyler Florence: a Sauvignon Blanc. The blend is a labor of love between Cooper's Hawk winemaker Rob Warren and the Food Network host, author, restaurateur and winemaker, Tyler Florence. The collaboration wine is a limited production blend made for the company's 300,000-plus Wine Club and is positioned as July's 'Wine of the Month'. While the wine debuted at a members-only Wine Club dinner hosted by Florence in Naples, Florida on June 20th, restaurant guests can sample the blend by the glass in the dining and tasting rooms throughout the month of July in any of Cooper's Hawk 32 restaurants.

Eight-time GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter and 2018 BET Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Anita Baker will bring her talents to Wynn Las Vegas for a limited engagement this summer. This holiday season, Wynn Las Vegas will unveil The Holiday Show, its first-ever seasonal production. Created and directed by Philip Wm. McKinley with choreography by Marguerite Derricks, who were both most recently involved in the reimagination of Wynn Las Vegas' award-winning production Le Reve - The Dream, this musical production combines a score of holiday hits like "Santa Baby" and "This Christmas," festive comedy and multi-genre dance numbers that will light up the stage at the intimate Encore Theater Nov. 30 - Dec. 30, 2018. Due to huge demand, new tickets to the spectacular new musical Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will go on sale on Friday 22 June at 4pm. Following sell-out shows in London, Edinburgh and Adelaide, Qadita production's TAHA, the award winning lyrical story of the life of Palestinian poet Taha Muhammad Ali will be presented in the State Theatre for 6 shows only from July 10-14 as part of Art Centre Melbourne's Big World, Up Close series. Written and performed by Palestinian author and performer Amer Hlehel, TAHA has been translated into English and directed by Amir Nizar Zuabi, one of the Middle East's most important writer/directors.

Grab your sunscreen and head down south for the Chillin' on the Lucie music festival in Port St. Lucie, Fla., Oct. 3 - 7. Headlining will be country icon, Wynonna, with her band The Big Noise, and hit-maker Joe Nichols, with two more to be announced. RaeLynn, Thompson Square, Craig Campbell, Restless Heart, Love and Theft, Trent Tomlinson, Scooter Brown Band and Southern Halo are also scheduled to perform at the festival, with more acts to be announced.
