Lamb To A Lion Productions, a rapidly growing theatrical production company is creating a strong impression with its first project, 'Love, Life & Redemption'.
Written, directed and produced by Setor Attipoe, 'Love, Life & Redemption has been described as 'undeniably engaging and heartfelt' by newspapers. The show started at an experimental off-Broadway playhouse and one year later, Lamb To A Lion Productions launched a successful national collegiate tour. With ten University performances under its belt and more dates lined up, 'Love, Life & Redemption' is creating a strong cultural brand. The show is becoming recognized as an especially good fit for Black History Month and Women's History Month.

The critically acclaimed production of Cyrano de Bergerac, Edmond Rostand's 1897 romantic classic with a translation and adaptation by Anthony Burgess, was recorded live on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 for PBS 'Great Performances.' It's now going to be made available on DVD on January 6, 2009. It will also be seen on PBS stations beginning January 7th, 2009 from 8-10:30pm.

Now in its second year, the Native Theater Festival will run November 12 to November 15 at The Public Theater and will feature three free readings of new works by Native playwrights followed by post-show discussions; a concert by Native and African-American singer Martha Redbone; topical field discussions on issues of particular concern to artists in the Native theater community; and a conversation with Oskar Eustis and other artists on politics and performance that will be open to the general public.
