Lamb To A Lion Productions, a rapidly growing theatrical production company is creating a strong impression with its first project, "Love, Life & Redemption".

Written, directed and produced by Setor Attipoe, "Love, Life & Redemption has been described as "undeniably engaging and heartfelt" by newspapers. The show started at an experimental off-Broadway playhouse and one year later, Lamb To A Lion Productions launched a successful national collegiate tour. With ten University performances under its belt and more dates lined up, "Love, Life & Redemption" is creating a strong cultural brand. The show is becoming recognized as an especially good fit for Black History Month and Women's History Month.

"Love, Life & Redemption" represents Lamb To A Lion's movement to establish a new genre in entertainment:
The Theatrical Poetry Performance.
About The "Love, Life & Redemption" Experience

"Love, Life & Redemption" is a unique addition to stages because it
intertwines 15 poems to tell the story of main character, Carolyn Bowers' life. The short vignettes combine traditional staging with pure poetic dialogue to create a memorable collection that represent the full spectrum of the human experience. This combination is what carves out a specialized niche for the production.

The majority of the show takes place during a dream that Bowers is having and brings together a cast of eight actors who represent four different ethnic groups and five different countries. Kelly White, a student at Georgian Court College in New Jersey described the performance as "the kind of theater that grabs your soul and takes it on a much-needed ride."

Using an unprecedented story structure, the show pulls together 15 poems and adds surprising elements like a witty soundtrack, laugh-out-loud humor and a variety of unpredictable scenes. Topics focus on cultural, social, spiritual and romantic issues and stories. Creator, Setor Attipoe has quickly built a media buzz, receiving nods from Backstage Newspaper, The Signal Newspaper and the African Sun Times, who calls Attipoe "a daring and astonishing playwright".

"Love, Life & Redemption" was a featured sponsor for the 2008 Annual Association of University Women Conference. The conference brought hundreds of young women together to focus on important and contemporary leadership issues that affect female leaders. For more information visit www.aauw.org.
