The Canadian Stage TD Dream in High Park presents Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare's timeless tale of ill-fated lovers and feuding families. Les Miserables is widely regarded as one of the most popular and successful musicals of all-time. It was the third longest running show on Broadway and has had over 9,500 performances in London's West End. Throughout the years, there have been many successful Canadian Productions of the hit show, and some alumni have come together to attempt to organize a reunion for June 2010 to bring together everyone who was ever part of the Canadian Les Mis family. BWW will be on hand to cover the big event and has also agreed to lend a hand in spreading the word, in the hopes that as many people as possible will be able to attend.

It was an early morning for fans of Olivier nominated stage star John Barrowman today in the U.K. Beginning at 7.45am, fans braved the cold to start the queue at Dress Circle to have their copies of Barrowman's new autobiography 'I Am What I Am' signed by the star. By 11.00am the queue was over 200 and snaking around the block. Despite the grey day, reportedly a good time was had by all.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto announced today that The Old Globe will produce the contemporary musical drama Street Lights. The new musical, created by composer and lyricist Joe Drymala, chronicles a group of inner city teenagers who fight to save their high school music program from being shut down. Directed by Ryan J. Davis, Street Lights uses hip hop, R&B and pop to tell a timeless story in the musical language of today's youth, while creating a bridge to earlier generations by incorporating samples of classic civil rights anthems.

Broadway In Chicago is excited to announce Tony Award winners Roger Bart and Shuler Hensley will reprise the roles of Dr. Frederick Frankenstein and The Monster in the first national tour of The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein. The Chicago engagement will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre for a limited six week engagement November 3 - December 13, 2009.
