The LakeArts Foundation will present the World Premiere of TROPHIES, a unique collaborative performance piece that blends sculptural masks by Roland Gebhardt, choreography by Mercedes and music by Moondog, performed live by HalfMoon Consort, under the direction of Louis Nicolia. Eleven plays penned by Alan Ayckbourn have been produced by the Alley, including the American premiere of Henceforward, directed by Ayckbourn, in 1987 and House & Garden in 2002. Alan Ayckbourn has been inducted into the American Theatre's Hall of Fame, received the 2010 Critics' Circle Award for Services to the Arts, became the first British playwright to receive both Olivier and Tony Special Lifetime Achievement Awards and was knighted in 1997 for services to the theatre.

The life of privilege long enjoyed by a venerable Texas family is slipping away and its members refuse to let go of it without a fight in Horton Foote's absorbing and widely praised comedy, Dividing the Estate, which opens at Palm Beach Dramaworks tonight, March 28 (8pm). Roundabout Theatre Company has announced Tony Award winner Rosemary Harris will play the role of 'Eleanor Swan' in the Off-Broadway premiere of Tom Stoppard's Indian Ink, directed by Carey Perloff. The production will begin performances on September 4 and open Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold & Miriam Steinberg Centre for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).

To commemorate 60 years of groundbreaking modern dance by a living legend, Paul Taylor has invited his alumni dancers to revive one his most profound works, From Sea to Shining Sea, at a special added performance on Sunday, March 23rd at 6:00 p.m. as part of the Paul Taylor Dance Company's three-week Season at Lincoln Center. Forty-six dancers have accepted Mr. Taylor's invitation to join members from the current Company.

Jackson Gay returns to direct this new production after helming the Alley Theatre's productions of August: Osage County, Red andIntelligence-Slave.

Phoebe Legere, the renowned singer, author, composer and multi-format artist, has written a full-length musical comedy, 'Shakespeare and Elizabeth I: The Reality Show.' The musical is about love, war, espionage and creative genius, and includes music written by Legere, who heads the cast of ten as Queen Elizabeth I. Director David Zen Mansley plays the Bard and trumpeter Rhys Tivey plays Robert Dudley, 1st Earl of Leicester, the Queen's noble heartthrob. Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave., will present this world premiere tonight, November 29 to December 15.

On Friday, November 15, 2013 STAGES ST. LOUIS hosted the twelfth annual APPLAUSE! Gala at the Ritz-Carlton, a benefit to support the organization's Education and Artistic Programs. APPLAUSE! 2013 raised proceeds of over $356,000.
