Arena Stage will continue to host Arena Civil Dialogues to engage the D.C.-area community

Michael Feinstein and the Pasadena POPS close out their popular outdoor summer concert series at the Los Angeles County Arboretum on Saturday, September 8 with Broadway Goes to the Movies. The POPS season finale will provide a quintessential Feinstein experience with some of Broadway's greatest performers recreating songs from hit shows that traveled from 42nd St. to Hollywood. "This program is going to celebrate all the different musical aspects of Broadway and Hollywood," says Feinstein, who has put together a program spanning the Broadway canon from My Fair Lady to The Sound of Music to Jersey Boys. Highlights include "The Impossible Dream," "Can't Take My Eyes off of You," and "There's No Business Like Show Business," among many other beloved showtunes.

Tickets are now on sale for Michael Grandage Company's critically acclaimed production of John Logan's Red, starring Alfred Molina and Alfred Enoch. The show will be presented by Trafalgar Releasing in selected cinemas across North America and the UK on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

HERE's Board of Directors announces that long-time Producing/Executive Director Kim Whitener will step down from HERE Art Center this fall to return to creative producing and consulting with her company KiWi Productions, where she will work with a range of US artists and companies primarily in the contemporary opera-theater and music-theater worlds.

Music Mountain, America's longest running summer chamber music festival, continues its 89th season with another weekend of extraordinary music. The all-female Cassatt String Quartet, with guest artist Paul Katz, cello offer a program featuring Borodin; Shostakovich; and Schubert on Sunday, August 26 (3pm). The weekend music begins with first time guests Amina Figarova Quintet playing her original jazz compositions on Saturday evening, August 25 (6:30pm). Concerts are scheduled through September 23.

Robert Wagner, the handsome and debonair actor and one of the most popular and successful stars in the entertainment industry, has been named to be the recipient of the Gold Coast International Film Festival's second annual Burton Moss Hollywood Golden Era Award. Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) is pleased to announce that Gregory Doran, artistic director, Royal Shakespeare Company, has invited Michael Boyd to stage his edit of Tamburlaine, Boyd's version of Christopher Marlowe's two-part epic, Tamburlaine the Great, which will open the Swan Theatre season at the Stratford-Upon-Avon based RSC.

The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles (SCLA) currently presents their new distinct take on Shakespeare's classic HENRY IV.
