The new Broadway production of D.L. Coburn's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, The Gin Game, starring Tony Award winners James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson, begins previews tonight, September 23. Opening night will be on Wednesday, October 14 at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue).

Creative Cauldron will open its 2015-?16 season with The World Goes 'Round, a musical revue of works by John Kander and Fred Ebb, one of the most prolific and acclaimed Broadway musical collaborators of all time. The production is directed by Matt Conner and choreographed by Kara-?Tameika Watkins. "Audiences will be dazzled by the brilliance of Kander and Ebb," stated Conner. "The songs in this wonderful revue celebrate the resilience of the human heart on a revolving planet filled with love, pain, success and failure." Previews begin October 1st and the show continues at ArtSpace Falls Church (410 South Maple Avenue) through October 25th. A Season Opening Gala reception and performance will be held on Saturday, October 3rd beginning at 6:30 pm. Press Night is Sunday, October 4th at 7:00 pm

It all started with Marc Oka (an Original Broadway Cast member) who decided to try and gather members of the casts of MISS SAIGON for a reunion. He went to URBO (a fantastic restaurant, bar and venue, in the heart of Times Square) and Manager, Benjamin Ickies, who is also a musician, and BOOM ... the night was born.

The producers for the new Broadway production of D.L. Coburn's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, The Gin Game, starring Tony Award winners James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson, have announced a change for first preview and opening night dates. The production, originally scheduled to start previews on September 18, will start previews on Wednesday, September 23.

For the 24th consecutive year, Segerstrom Center for the Arts will offer its Summer at the Center [SATC] program for Orange County at risk youths. It will be held July 20 - August 1. A nationally recognized community service program created by the Center, Summer at the Center provides high-risk and underserved youths with opportunities to develop trust and confidence, self-esteem and positive attitudes and approaches to life challenges through the performing arts. It is a rigorous two-week musical theater program of classes taught by professional teaching artists held in a safe and nurturing environment. The results of their efforts can be experienced when the students perform a Broadway revue-style show in the Center's Samueli Theater on Saturday, August 1 at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. These performances are free and open to the public; no reservations are required. Seating is on a first- come, first-served basis. More information is available at www.scfta.org/satc.

The Maryland band is primed and ready to ROCK YOUR FACE OFF with their seventh new album set for release August 5 on Loud & Proud Records. It's everything fans know and love them for: a raucous, roaring and real display of rock 'n' roll. The first single, “Love Me With Your Top Down,” will be released to radio and online retail outlets later this month. Eddie Trunk will exclusively world premiere the song during his “Friday Night Rocks” radio show originating from Q104.3 (heard in New York City, Long Island, NJ and CT) this Friday, June 20 from 11pm-2am ET. Producer Ronnie Marmo and Theatre 68 are proud to present DROP DEAD! - By playwrights Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore - Opening tonight, June 6th at The NoHo Arts Center. This will be the 29th anniversary of the original production, and 23 years since the Los Angeles production originally opened. Marmo and Theatre 68 are elated to be granted the rights for this show for the first time since its original premiere. Landing Van Zandt as the director was the icing on the cake.

Summer at the Center (SATC) returns to Segerstrom Center for the Arts for its 23rd consecutive year and will be held July 21 - August 2. This award-winning program provides high-risk and underserved youths facing personal challenges a safe environment in which to grow, trust and develop self-esteem and positive goals. Using a musical theater format, SATC professional teaching artists create daily lessons and exercises that engage participants in fun, creative and productive ways. Following their hard work during the two-week program, the students will perform a Broadway revue-style show in Samueli Theater on Saturday, August 2 at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The performances are free and open to the public; no reservations are required. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The performances are part of Segerstrom Center's Free for All Series, which allows guests to experience different aspects of Center's artistic and education programs at no cost.
