Comedian, film and TV star Janeane Garofalo has just joined the New Group's production of Russian Transport by Erika Sheffer, directed by Scott Elliott. The production's run begins on January 17, 2012 at the Acorn Theater, with tickets on sale December 5th.

NBC will celebrate the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree with a live broadcast from Rockefeller Center in New York City on Wednesday, November 30th from 8 to 9 p.m. ET. Adult Swim announced the addition of Emmy nominated actress and comedian Janeane Garofalo to the cast of Delocated. Currently in production for its third season, the 30-minute live-action comedy series airs every Sunday at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on Adult Swim. Season three of Delocated will premiere in early 2012.

Harrah's Resort Atlantic City will present the last performance by a cappella group STRAIGHT NO CHASER on Sept. 4. 'Back to the Shore: Songs of the Decades and More' is performed at the Concert Theater at Harrah's. Fans will be able to hear these remarkable vocalists play with the pop songbook on Wednesday-Saturday nights at 8pm-there are no shows on Thursday or Friday nights.

Founded at Indiana University in the fall of 1996, Straight No Chaser's goal was to expand the boundaries of the traditional college a cappella group. From the start, they viewed themselves more like a local band that just happened to use their voices as their instruments.

If Bill Clinton really was, as Toni Morrison put it, America's first black president, then perhaps it's about time we crowned David Lindsay-Abaire as America's leading female playwright. Since first gaining major attention in 1999 with Fuddy Meers, and including major productions such as Kimberly Akimbo, Wonder of the World and the Pulitzer-winning Rabbit Hole, Lindsay-Abaire (whose surname is a hyphenated combination of his and his wife's last names) has been continually filling stages with unique and interesting women as his leading characters.
