Ahead of Fleet Foxes' forthcoming special limited-edition First Collection 2006 – 2009 release on November 9, the band shares its song “Icicle Tusk,” which was originally released on the self-released The Fleet Foxes EP in April 2006 in an extremely limited quantity of fewer than 200 copies.

Westport Country Playhouse's world-premiere drama, "Thousand Pines," brings the national dialogue about gun violence to the stage, October 30 through November 17.  Written by Matthew Greene, and directed by Austin Pendleton, the new play was part of the Playhouse's 2017 New Works Circle Initiative, a program dedicated to the discovery, development, and production of new live theatrical works.

As-yet-unreleased in any form outside of the UK and Europe, “Isles” is included on the B-Sides and Rarities 10” or CD.

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Founding Artistic Director Steven Maler, announced the cast of the first production of its 2018-19 Season: Universe Rushing Apart: Blue Kettle & Here We Go, two one-act plays by Caryl Churchill, directed by Bryn Boice. The production runs November 7-18 at the Black Box Theater, Sorenson Center for the Arts at Babson College in Wellesley.

Fleet Foxes have announced a special limited-edition collection to mark the 10th anniversary of their debut album, entitled First Collection 2006 – 2009, to be released by Nonesuch in Europe and Sub Pop for the rest of the world on November 9, 2018. The package features content spanning the early days of Fleet Foxes' career, including the self-titled full-length debut album on 12” vinyl, as well as the Sun Giant EP on 10” vinyl and the first vinyl releases of both the very limited-edition, previously only self-released The Fleet Foxes EP on 10” and B-sides & Rarities on 10”. The special edition will also be released on CD and on all digital platforms.

Priestley's classic thriller An Inspector Calls will kick off a four-city U.S. tour at Shakespeare Theatre Company from November 20 through December 23, 2018.

Acclaimed Los Angeles drummer and producer Te'Amir released his latest single, “Blue Nile”, today, after the track premiered yesterday via LA Record, announcing his sophomore EP of 2018,Abyssinia Rise, will arrive October 19 on Tru Thoughts – watch the teaser video.  To celebrate, Te'Amir will perform tonight at the Destination Out party at the FreeHand Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, 8pm-11pm [details here].  Abyssinia Rise follows the July release of the Abyssinia EP which gained recognition from tastemakers such as Jeremy Sole (KCRW) and Garth Trinidad (KCRW), producer and DJ Carlos Niño, Mochilla, Red Bull Music Academy Radio and Okayplayer.

The Playwrights Realm (Katherine Kovner, Founding Artistic Director; Roberta Pereira, Producing Director) today announces the complete cast and creative team for the world premiere of Jonathan Payne's The Revolving Cycles Truly and Steadily Roll'd, directed by Awoye Timpo (Sept. 7-Oct. 6, at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project).  This world premiere marks the first full production from the mordantly funny and unsparing voice of Jonathan Payne.

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces full casting for the UK premiere of Jordi Galceran's The Gronholm Method. Making his UK directorial debut, BT McNicholl directs Jonathan Cake (Frank), Greg McHugh (Carl), Laura Pitt-Pulford (Melanie) and John Gordon Sinclair (Rick). The production opens on 22 May, with previews from 10 May, and runs until 7 July.

Top selling items was Prince's custom made played yellow Cloud guitar which sold for an astounding $225,000 (pictured above right) well over its original $60,000-$80,000 estimate.

Today, Goodman Theatre announces the Summer 2018 return of Jim McGrath's Pamplona starring stage and screen veteran Stacy Keach as Ernest Hemingway, directed by Artistic Director Robert Falls. Originally scheduled for Spring 2017, Pamplona appeared for 11 preview performances but closed prematurely after its star suddenly fell ill on Opening Night and doctors ordered recuperation.
