On Saturday, April 13, the Martha Graham Dance Company will present a Women's Leadership Program as part of The EVE Project and its Joyce Theater season. The EVE Project celebrates the power of women and the upcoming 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. It honors not only the progress of women in the last 100 years, but also provides entr e into some of today's most pressing conversations about gender and power.

The Martha Graham Dance Company will host its annual gala on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. This special gala evening will honor Barbara Cohen, a Trustee of the Martha Graham Center, for her generosity and service to the company. Proceeds from the gala support the creation of new works and preservation of Martha Graham masterpieces. The event is the nonprofit organization's largest annual fundraiser. 

The Martha Graham Dance Company's Studio Series continues with GrahamDeconstructed: Secular Games on Tuesday, March 19, and Wednesday, March 20, at 7pm, at the Martha Graham Studio Theater, 55 Bethune Street (11th Floor), in Manhattan.

The January GrahamDeconstructed focuses on the extraordinary partnership between Martha Graham and sculptor-designer Isamu Noguchi and two of their collaborations, Herodiade (1944) and El Penitente (1940). The evening will include a rehearsal run-through of both works introduced by a conversation about the Graham/Noguchi collaboration. Following the presentation, the audience will have a chance to explore and photograph the Noguchi set pieces/sculptures.

The Martha Graham Dance Company's NEW@Graham series offers a look inside the creative process of new works commissioned by the Company. On December 18 and 19, the Company will present a work-in-progress showing of choreographers Maxine Doyle and Bobbi Jene Smith's collaborative work for the Company, followed by a conversation with the artists. NEW@Graham will take place on Tuesday, December 18, and Wednesday, December 19, at 7pm, at the Martha Graham Studio Theater.

The Martha Graham Dance Company's 2018-19 Studio Series begins in November with Martha's Men, a program that focuses on the role of men and the masculine in Martha Graham's work. Martha's Men will take place on Tuesday, November 13, and Wednesday, November 14, at 7pm, at the Martha Graham Studio Theater, 55 Bethune Street (11th Floor), in Manhattan.

The Martha Graham Dance Company announces the 2018–19 season of its popular Studio Series, which offers audiences a behind-the-scenes look at the work of the Company in the intimate setting of the Martha Graham Studio Theater. The events in this season's Studio Series revolve around the Company's EVE Project, a two-year initiative featuring new works by female choreographers and classic Graham repertory focused on heroines and anti-heroines—all with an underlying statement about female power.

The latest addition to the dynamic Martha Graham Studio Series showcases the work of Graham Family members, including emerging and established Graham alumni choreographers. NEXT@Graham is curated by former Graham Company principal dancer Tadej Brdnik. The iconic New York institutions have joined forces to create a virtual reality short film that blends fashion, technology and contemporary dance, premiering in Barneys New York stores in exclusive designer looks straight from the runway. The experience can be viewed in Barneys New York stores with Gear VR powered by Oculus, through the Samsung VR app, and online at Barneys.com, on March 6.

The Martha Graham Dance Company's spring NEW@Graham event will feature a look inside two works that are new to the Company: Lucinda Childs' Histoire and Lar Lubovitch's The Legend of Ten. For Histoire, Childs has expanded a 1999 duet she created for the Company into a work for eight dancers. The Legend of Ten joins the Company's repertory in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company. Excerpts from both works will be performed by the renowned Graham dancers and introduced by Graham Company Artistic Director Janet Eilber. The Company will premiere both works during its New York City Center season in April.

The internationally renowned Lar Lubovitch Dance Company celebrates its 50th anniversary this spring with two programs at The Joyce Theater featuring the world premiere of Lar Lubovitch's Something About Night as well as signature works from the Company's vast repertory. The Company will be joined by the Martha Graham Dance Company and principals from The Joffrey Ballet, each performing seminal Lubovitch dances in honor of this milestone year. Performances are at The Joyce Theater April 17–22, 2018 (Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30pm, Thursday and Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday at 2pm).

The Martha Graham Dance Company Announces LAMVAR10: A Festival for New Work, a multiweek program celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Lamentation Variations, short commissioned works inspired by Martha Graham's iconic solo Lamentation.

The world-renowned Martha Graham Dance Company has announced its New York City Center season, new commissions, studio series, and tour schedule for the 2017-2018 season. The season includes performances at international arts festivals and renowned venues across the United States and in Canada, Germany, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, and Taiwan.

The Martha Graham Dance Company's May GrahamDeconstructed event will focus on the Martha Graham Technique, Graham's codified physical vocabulary that has been compared to classical ballet in its scope.

As part of its NEW@Graham series, the Martha Graham Dance Company will host a conversation with critically acclaimed choreographer and filmmaker Pontus Lidberg. The evening will include a sneak peek at excerpts from his new film Written on Water,an impossible love story about a choreographer reigniting an encounter from the past. Dance comprises half of this unique narrative, which features Paris Opera Ballet's Aurelie Dupont in the leading role. The Graham dancers will also perform Lidberg's work Woodland, created for the Company in 2016.

The Martha Graham Dance Company will present a special GrahamDeconstructed event celebrating the 86th anniversary of Primitive Mysteries, one of Graham's most revolutionary works. This stark, ritualistic dance reflects on the purity found in the virgin myths of the Southwest. It was hailed a masterpiece at its premiere and is a prime example of Graham as a leader in the modernist movement. Primitive Mysteries premiered at the Craig Theatre in New York City on February 2, 1931. 

NEW@Graham offers audiences an inside look at the creative process of new works commissioned by the Martha Graham Dance Company. 

The Martha Graham Dance Company's two-week season at The Joyce Theater, February 14-26, 2017, will feature three diverse programs organized under the season theme Sacred/Profane. Classics by Martha Graham and works by four contemporary choreographers, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Annie-B Parson, Pontus Lidberg, and Nacho Duato, will be presented, highlighting the mystical, spiritual, and humorous aspects of magical thinking.

 The GrahamDeconstructed series brings audiences behind the scenes for an intimate view of Martha Graham's masterworks. On October 4 and 5 the Martha Graham Dance Company will present a rehearsal showing of Clytemnestra (Act 2),from Graham's 1958 full-evening masterwork.
