Goodman Theatre revives Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years, Emily Mann's "warming theatrical event" (Variety)that celebrates the lives of "two strong, vibrant women dispensing joy and wisdom" (Chicago Tribune). Goodman Theatre Resident Director Chuck Smith's production features Ella Joyce and Marie Thomas as the Delany centenarians, Bessie (1891 - 1995) and Sadie (1889 -1999), respectively, as they trace their lives in a heartfelt reflection of their family history and triumphs over prejudices in times of social unrest.

Originally written in 1979 by Bobby Hackney and re-recorded in 2017, the lyrics remain just as relevant, if not more so, to the environmental destruction we face today.

Monkey Shoulder, the blended malt Scotch whisky, is bringing the fun back to serious cocktails in a big way, with the introduction ofThe Monkey Mixer. Drawing cheeky inspiration from a cement truck's design, the traditional cocktail shaker has been upgraded and transformed into the ultimate cocktail machine. The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles (SCLA), under the artistic direction of Ben Donenberg, returns to The Japanese Garden on the West Los Angeles VA Campus with a new production - 'Henry IV' - condensing two of Shakespeare's plays and staged by Tony Award winning director Daniel Sullivan. The world-class acting company includes Tom Hanks as Falstaff and Rita Wilson; with additional cast members to be announced shortly, as confirmed. Tom Ware is the executive producer.
