To mark the 90th birthday, of one of the UK's greatest living playwrights, Peter Nichols, The British Library will be hosting an evening, celebrating the man and his work, on Friday 22 September.

Building on the critical success of his 2011 production of Harold Pinter's Old Times, STC Artistic Director Michael Kahn will return to the British playwright's gripping realm of doubt and disquiet to direct a double bill of short plays. The Donmar Warehouse today announces full casting for playwright Steve Waters' searing new drama Limehouse. The play imagines what happened when the 'Gang of Four' met in 1981 to break away from the Labour party and form the SDP.

The Menier Chocolate Factory has announced that Harry Hepple (Baker), Steffan Lloyd-Evans (Wolf/ Cinderella's Prince) and Laura Tebbutt (Baker's Wife) will join the company of Fiasco's enchanting reinvention of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's masterpiece INTO THE WOODS. Artistic Director Anda Winters today announces Print Room at the Coronet's forthcoming season running through until December 2016. The season opens with Tennessee Williams' A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur, directed by Michael Oakley.
