ShopRite Makes Annual Donation of Holiday Turkeys

Fighting hunger in the community is at the very heart of ShopRite's charitable giving. Since 1999, ShopRite Partners In Caring, a year round hunger-fighting initiative, has donated more than 800,000 pounds of frozen turkeys to food banks in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland. This year's record donation of 60 tons of turkeys has already been loaded on ShopRite trucks and delivered to local food banks.

Artists Rep will present Noel Coward's elegantly comedic classic, Blithe Spirit, this holiday season. This production is directed by Christopher Liam Moore, an Oregon Shakespeare Festival company member, who directed our 2013 hit comedy Red Herring, and who recently returned from a stint on Broadway with the Tony Award-winning All the Way. Blithe Spirit starts previews tonight, November 25 and runs through December 21.

'DISCORD' Extends Again Through Dec 21 at the Geffen Playhouse

The Geffen Playhouse production of The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord, is extending for a third time, now through December 21, 2014. The production, in the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater at the Geffen Playhouse, is written by Scott Carter, executive producer and writer for Bill Maher's Politically Incorrect and Real Time.
