'Q' is coming to IU to get a Ph.D. Legendary musical composer and arranger, record and television producer, magazine publisher and trumpeter Quincy Jones Jr. -- known to many simply as 'Q' -- is being presented with an honorary Doctorate of Music by Indiana University at its 2010 undergraduate commencement ceremonies, May 8, in Bloomington, Ind.

The release will be the first time the recording has been available on CD. The musical starred Cleo Laine in the title role. The show originally opened at The Stables Theatre, Wavendon in 1979 and transferred to the Comedy Theatre, London in September 1980.
