45 years on from the legendary occupation of the Lee Jeans Factory in Greenock, Stand and Deliver: The Lee Jeans Sit-In tells a powerful and personal story of political resistance, workers' determination and lifelong female solidarity and friendship.
Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year more than 16,000 K-12 students in Central Texas will attend their first-ever Broadway School Show and additional school day performances as Texas Performing Arts (TPA) Austin’s largest arts organization will educate and inspire even more students through live performance. This is great news for achieving greater awareness of the rich array of performing arts available to us in the Austin area.

Albert, concludes the 2016-2017 Season with the Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy Harvey by Mary Chase, directed by Devon De Mayo. Harvey runs May 11 - June 11, 2017 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Avenue in Chicago. The Press Opening is Saturday, May 20 at 8:00 p.m.
The 2016 Music Circus season concludes with the Northern California premiere of a new musical from the mind of Victor Hugo, inspired by one of the most epic stories ever told: The Hunchback of Notre Dame. This daring production sets the classic tale of love, vengeance, and compassion to one of the most sweeping scores ever written for the stage. It's the only stage collaboration between two masters of American musical theatre, Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast) and Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin). Italy's Dario D'Ambrosi, a radical innovator of the theater and founder of the movement called Teatro Patologico (Pathological Theater), will stage a novel version of 'Romeo and Juliet' at La MaMa December 3 to 13. His interpretation is meant to contrast the marvel of love with the fragility of life, the shock of the moment of total loss, and what he calls a 'schizophrenia of the world.'
Broadway lovers and teddy bear collectors came together on Sunday, February 11, at the 'Broadway Bears X' auction, which raised a grand total of $130,000 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
