Inspired by both titles of William Shakespeare's popular, musical comedy, Tennessee Shakespeare Company (TSC), the Mid-South's professional classical theatre, continues its seventh season of plays with a turn-of-the-century musical hall production of Twelfth Night, or What You Will.

The Cape Dance Company (CDC) presents BLUE, celebrating its 20th Anniversary season at the Artscape Theatre from 27 November. Another diverse and exciting season for the company, BLUE is set to showcase the versatility of the CDC dancers.

Opening the program, David Dawson's breath-taking, hyper-extended A Million Kisses to my Skin references the intoxicating bliss dancers experience while performing. Rassemblement, Nacho Duato's poignant work set to slave songs by Haitian artist Toto Bissainthe, voices communal yearning and resistance in a climate of oppression. Annabelle Lopez Ochoa's (Cylindrical Shadows) critically-acclaimed signature piece, Before After, a PNB premiere, unmasks the turmoil just before a relationship ends. The performance closes with Debonair, a world premiere by New York City Ballet's rising star Justin Peck, praised for 'electrifying classical dance with [his] fresh vision' (Wall Street Journal). The program also includes a musical prelude to shine the spotlight on the nationally renowned PNB Orchestra, currently celebrating its 25th Anniversary season. Cornish Dance Theater, the performing ensemble of the Dance Department at Cornish College of the Arts, will feature choreography by Iyun Ashani Harrison, Jose Limon, Vivian Little, Michele Miller, and Amy O'Neal at its Fall 2014 Concert, which takes place at the Cornish Playhouse on Nov. 21 and 22. Many of the pieces, including one world premiere from Harrison, focus on issues relevant to the dancers and today's college students.

St. Ann's Warehouse welcomes back the National Theatre of Scotland, director John Tiffany and associate director Steven Hoggett for the American Premiere of Let the Right One In, which Jack Thorne adapted for the stage from John Ajvide Lindqvist's novel and screenplay, and which garnered tremendous acclaim on London's West End earlier this year.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association has announced two conductors who will participate in the 2014/15 Dudamel Fellowship Program - Christian Kluxen and Gemma New. Music Director Gustavo Dudamel, together with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, created the Dudamel Fellowship Program in 2009 to provide a unique opportunity for promising young conductors from around the world to develop their craft and enrich their musical experience through personal mentorship and participation in the LA Phil's orchestral, education and community programs.

From September 4-14, 2014, Houston Ballet launches its 45th season with the company premiere of John Neumeier's three-act ballet A Midsummer Night's Dream. The ballet is based on Shakespeare's lighthearted play of the same name and follows the hijinks and hilarity that ensues when a well-intentioned plan with a love potion goes awry. Created in 1977, A Midsummer Night's Dream has served as Mr. Neumeier's calling card, being seen as one of his most joyous and popular creations. Houston Ballet is the first American ballet company to perform the famous work and it is the first piece by Mr. Neumeier to enter the Houston Ballet repertoire.

The National New Play Network (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, in collaboration with the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival and Stanford University's National Center for New Plays, will host nearly fifty playwrights, directors and dramaturgs today, July 26 - August 3, 2014 as part of a week-long workshop for new works by MFA students from New York University-Tisch School of the Arts, Hunter College, University of California-San Diego, and the Juilliard School.

Profiles Theatre announces the Midwest premiere of Annapurna by Sharr White, opening at The Alley Stage, 4147 N. Broadway on June 12, 2014. Annapurna, directed by Profiles ensemble member Eric Burgher and featuring ensemble member Darrell W. Cox with guest artist Lia D. Mortensen, runs June 13, 2014 - July 20, 2014.
