Berkshire Theatre Group is now accepting submissions for the 6th Annual Made in the Berkshires Festival, taking place on October 14th, 15th and 16th at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield and The Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge. The deadline for submissions is May 30th.

2016 NYMF Reveals Initial Lineup

 The New York Musical Festival (NYMF), previously known as The New York Musical Theatre Festival, announced today the initial lineup for NYMF 2016. Among the shows announced in the lineup are the Next Link Project musical selections, as well as invited production selections, developmental reading selections, and concerts. Now in its thirteenth year, the 2016 Festival will take place in July at locations around midtown Manhattan in New York City.

Bramwell Tovey to Conduct New York Philharmonic in Massenet & Falla This Spring

Bramwell Tovey returns to the New York Philharmonic to conduct Massenet's Ballet Music from Le Cid; Falla's Nights in the Gardens of Spain, with pianist Joyce Yang as soloist; and Falla's The Three-Cornered Hat (complete ballet), with mezzo-soprano Virginie Verrez in her Philharmonic subscription debut, Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, April 1 at 11:00 a.m.; Saturday, April 2 at 8:00 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m.

UCPAC Now Offering Special Film Package

Union County Performing Arts Center is offering a special package for film lovers who purchase tickets to upcoming  screenings of Cecil B. DeMille's silent epic King of Kings on March 6 and the 35th Asbury Short Film Concert on May 13. Patrons who purchase tickets to both programs will receive a complimentary ticket to UCPAC's screening of Metropolis on May 14. All screenings will take place at UCPAC's Mainstage.
