Vancouver Opera to Close Season with Puccini's LA BOHÈME at Queen Elizabeth Theatre

Vancouver Opera will conclude its 2025-2026 season with Puccini's La Boheme at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. This production, featuring the tragic romance of Rodolfo and Mimì set in Paris's Latin Quarter, is directed by Brenna Corner.

Porchlight Music Theatre's production of the Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, RENT, music, lyrics and book by Jonathan Larson, at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn St. has opened, and will run through Sunday, Nov. 27. The production is directed by Adrian Abel Azevedo, music directed by Dr. Michael McBride and choreographed by Laura Savage. Adelphi University presented the first licensed full production of RENT, the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical by alumnus Jonathan Larson B.F.A. '82, after its Broadway closing. This completely new and reconceived version of RENT kicked off the inaugural season in the University's new Performing Arts Center (AU PAC), and ran from September 23 through September 28, 2008.
