Interrobang Theatre Project is pleased to announce its ninth season, featuring three knockout dramas presented at its new resident home, Rivendell Theatre, 5779 N. Ridge Ave. in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood. This season, Interrobang explores "identity/crisis," with three plays featuring characters on the edge of something new, battling old demons and making room for fresh starts.

When the stage directions in a script indicate 'to kiss' any good actor knows it will be 'stage kiss.' That is, kind of awkward at first attempt in the rehearsal hall, but hopefully with practice becomes convincing enough to the audience without the actors actually becoming emotionally involved with each other during the run of the play. That's alot of information to digest for an action that merely calls for two people playing their lips on each other's . Briefly stated, that is the underlying premise in the Shaw Festival's delightful romp, STAGE KISS playing at the Royal George Theatre.

Bryony Lavery's critically acclaimed play Frozen, starring Suranne Jones (Save Me, Doctor Foster, Scott & Bailey), Nina Sosanya (W1A, Last Tango in Halifax) and Jason Watkins (Line of Duty, Taboo, W1A), will end its scheduled run at Theatre Royal Haymarket on Saturday 5 May 2018.

Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 209th season with Michael Frayn's classic backstage comedy, NOISES OFF. Directed by Frank Anzalone, this production begins previews on March 13th, opens on March 21st, and runs through April 29th on the Walnut's Mainstage.

Paul Bradley, Jonathan Broadbent, Selina Cadell, Rebekah Hinds, Belinda Lang and Christopher Ravenscroft will appear in the first major London revival of Humble Boy by Charlotte Jones, directed by OT Artistic Director Paul Miller. Written and directed by renowned author Theresa Rebeck (Mauritus and Seminar and Broadway; creator and head writer of TV's Smash), the production will star Tony Award nominee Kristine Nielsen (Present Laughter, You Can't Take It With You, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike on Broadway).

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, the area's only year-round producing theatre, kicks off its 2018 Mega-Mini Season with Shrek The Musical. The hit Broadway production will mark the beginning of Way Off Broadway's 24th Season of bringing live stage entertainment to the region. Shrek opens January 12th.
