Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for The Old Globe's 2011 Shakespeare Festival, performed in repertory in the outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. Adrian Noble returns as the Artistic Director of the 2011 Festival and will direct Shakespeare's The Tempest and Peter Shaffer's Amadeus. Ron Daniels also returns and will direct Much Ado About Nothing.

The Broadway community mourns the loss of Elizabeth Taylor, legendary stage and screen star, who died Wednesday at the age of 79 in Los Angeles. The marquees of Broadway theatres in New York were dimmed in her memory on Friday, March 25th, at exactly 8:00pm for one minute.

Yesterday, March 24, Elton John paid tribute to his late friend, Elizabeth Taylor, at his concert in Pittsburgh. Said John during the concert: '[It is] a sad day becuase I lost a friend and you lost a hero....[who] stood up when no one was prepared to stand up and be counted against AIDS. God bless you, Elizabeth. God knows how we're going to replace you. This is for you and your beautiful memory and for all of the people you helped saved.'

On Monday, May 2, 2011 The New York Pops' marks its 28th birthday with Celebrate Hope, a grand gala evening celebrating the legacy of late actor and comedian Bob Hope and honoring decades of support by Interpublic Group. The event begins at 7:00 PM with a concert at Carnegie Hall featuring a special lineup of concert artists - including Brooke Shields, Cheyenne Jackson, Christine Ebersole, Kelli O'Hara, Maurice Hines, Cartier Williams and special guest Angela Lansbury - under the baton of Music Director Steven Reineke. The New York Pops will also be joined on stage by the singers of The Camp Broadway Kids and the West Point Glee Club. Following the concert, a black tie dinner and dance will be held at the luxurious Plaza Hotel.

Starring Tom Hollander with Di Botcher, Jonathan Cake, Oliver Cotton, Lisa Dillon, Freddie Fox, Fiona Glascott, Lloyd Hutchinson, John Marquez, Tim McMullan, William Maxwell, Rebecca Night, Maggie Service and Walter Van Dyk, A Flea in Her Ear is a comedy of errors set against a backdrop of misunderstanding and confusion. A Flea in Her Ear is a co-production with Sonia Friedman Productions and is the second play in The Old Vic 2010-11 Season. The Season is sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

For three decades, more than half a million admirers of A Christmas Carol have been delighted by Kansas City Repertory Theatre's annual production of Charles Dickens' holiday classic. This year, the Rep celebrates its 30th anniversary production of A Christmas Carol by refurbishing its iconic set and introducing exciting new elements to the show, which is directed by 29-year-old Kyle Hatley. A Christmas Carol runs November 19-December 26 at Spencer Theatre on the UMKC campus, and is produced in partnership with UMKC Theatre.

On May 6th, CAP21 (Collaborative Arts Project 21) will transform its block box theater 'The Shop' into Europe during WWI, the backdrop for Fengar Gael's 'The Usher's Ball'. The play will have a month long run in May, as part of CAP21's Spring/Summer season.
