In a train depot beautifully created and dressed by Chelsie Camaro Smith and props by Shirley Overton, not a detail is missed - from the ornate corners on the ticket booth to the weathered wood and grey concrete interior to the vintage magazines, telephones and stored luggage. After the huge success of For King and Country last year it is returning once again to London - this time with a second show alongside it. Both set in the same alternate-history Britain with the same characters these two shows are very different in feel. In 'For King and Country: 1940' the audience set up a government and war cabinet to lead the country in the middle of a Nazi invasion, while in 'For King and Country: 1944' the audience become the British resistance leadership taking on the occupying government of the Third Reich as guerrilla insurgents and enabling the Allies to mount a counter-invasion.

Spring activities for the Centennial, which continues through all of 2019, include a wide range of performances, film screenings, discussions, education initiatives, community programming, and new works by other artists in conversation with Merce Cunningham's work.

Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS is a 2000 musical based on Paramount Pictures 1954 film of the same name featuring the songs of Irving Berlin. The film itself was a remake of the film Holiday Inn. The new book is by David Ives and Paul Blake and features all of the songs from the 1954 film, along with some trunk songs, all by Irving Berlin and hews remarkably close to the plot line of the film, with a few exceptions. It premiered in St. Louis in 2000 at The Muny, after which it opened in San Francisco in 2004. This new stage musical played a limited engagement of 53 performances on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre in 2008. It received two 2009 Tony nominations and seven Drama Desk Award nominations.
