Burns & McDonnell chairman and chief executive officer Greg Graves has been elected as the new chair of Kansas City Repertory Theatre Board of Directors. Graves, who had served on the finance committee, will serve as chair for two years and succeeds Scott Boswell. Graves has been on the board since 2014.

Regan approached Comedy Central with the idea of a live show as a way to do something special for his third hour-long stand-up special with the network. Off-Off-Broadway theater company West of 10th announces their premiere production of Matt & Ben by Mindy Kaling and Brenda Withers. Matt & Ben is opening on August 26th, 2015 for a limited run at the Workshop Theater in midtown.

The Jeff Awards Committee today announced 118 nominations in 24 categories for the 42nd Annual Non-Equity Jeff Awards for productions that opened between April 1, 2014, and March 31, 2015. The Non-Equity Awards honor excellence in Chicago theatres not under a union contract. Jeff judges attended opening nights of 133 productions offered by 56 Non-Equity producing organizations. The Jeff Committee recommended 62 of those shows, making them eligible for Non-Equity Jeff Award nominations. Of the 62 Jeff Recommended productions, 46 received nominations, representing 23 theatre companies.
