Transport Group, the winner of a special 2007 Drama Desk Award and a 2007 Obie Award, will present the first major New York revival of Irwin Shaw's Bury the Dead, directed by Joe Calarco, beginning performances Friday, October 31, at 220 East 4 Street, between Avenues A and B (6 to Astor Place, W/N to 8th Street or F/V to Second Avenue). The opening has been scheduled for Sunday, November 9, at 3pm.

On the Town, the first Broadway musical with music by Leonard Bernstein and written by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, will open the 2008-2009 Encores! season at New York City Center, running November 19 - 23.

Perlman, and directed by Jack Cummings III.

The Music Circus premiere of 'SWEENEY TODD' (July 22 - 27) will star two Tony Award nominees: Mark Jacoby in the title role and Mary Gordon Murray as Mrs. Lovett.

New York City Center Announces 16th Encores! Season opening with 'On the Town.'

The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein, a new musical comedy from the creative team of the 12-time Tony Award winning smash The Producers, will open on Broadway November 8th 2007 at the Hilton Theatre (213 W 42nd St). Previews begin October 11th 2007. The production stars Roger Bart (Dr. Frederick Frankenstein), Megan Mullally (Elizabeth), Sutton Foster (Inga), Shuler Hensley (The Monster), Fred Applegate (Kemp) and Christopher Fitzgerald (Igor).

On December 28th, PBS will re-air the filmed London revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! as part of the 'Great Performances' series
