Tom Parker (The Wanted) will be making his musical theatre debut playing Danny Zuko, Danielle Hope (Over the Rainbow winner) will be playing Sandy, and Louisa Lytton (Strictly Come Dancing, EastEnders) is taking on the role of Rizzo.

The new season opens with Hastie directing William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar bringing Shakespeare back to the Crucible; this will be followed in the Studio by the winner of the new annual RTST Director Award Scheme Kate Hewitt directing the regional premiere of Nina Raine's Tribes.  

ShawChicago presents Shakespeare's People, a collection of the Bard's most coveted words, and the American premiere of James Barrie's lost epic, Shakespeare's Legacy. It premiered 100 years ago, was lost, and later uncovered at the University of Chicago library. This one-night performance is part of the Shakespeare 400 celebration in Chicago.
