As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Will Eno's Middletown - which will receive its World-Premiere at the Vineyard Theatre with previews beginning October 13, and opening officially on November 3 - is the inaugural recipient of the newly established Horton Foote Prize for Promising New American Play. Wayside Theatre, in Middletown, VA, presents the musical comedy, STRIKING 12, as its third production of the 2010/2011 season from August 28th to September 25th. Opening Night is Sunday, August 29 at 6:30pm. The remaining schedule of performances is Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm and Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday's at 2:30 pm. Ticket prices are $30 to $25 dollars for adults. Prices for children 5 to 17 are $10 for any performance. Discounts are available for students and seniors. DoSomething.org hosted an exquisite refuge for members of the Tri-State Area who were not at the Sex & The City 2 fashion-show-disguised-as-a-film-premiere last night. Held at Harlem's flagship attraction, the Apollo Theater, guests congregated for the announcement of this year's DoSomething Award recipient nominees.

Wayside Theatre Artistic Director Warner Crocker today announced the cast for the winter musical production of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, a multi-award winning musical extravaganza. The play continues its run through March 13th. The production is sponsored by Executive Suites, LLT.
