Sometimes it seems there is so much theater happening that it's difficult to keep track of it all. From personal experience, despite all the datebooks, smart phones, tablets, desktop computers and laptops...it's hard to keep everything straight in this wacky business of the show.

Raleigh, NC- North Carolina Theatre, the region's premiere nonprofit professional regional theatre producing Broadway musical revivals, is thrilled to announce a strong mix of Broadway and regional talent in the casting of Into The Woods, playing tonight, October 20, through October 25, 2015 at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. 

Yale Repertory Theatre opens its 2015-16 season with the world premiere of INDECENT, a new play with music, written by Paula Vogel, created by Paula Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Rebecca Taichman, at the University Theatre (222 York Street), now through October 24. Opening Night is tonight, October 8. The world premiere of INDECENT is a co-production with La Jolla Playhouse, where it will play November 13-December 10.

To benefit their 2016 return to their East Village home, Performance Space 122 (PS122) and Executive Producer Anson Mount bring together widely acclaimed playwright Eric Bogosian and director Jo Bonney, along with their close friends, for two-nights of hand-selected, intimate performances from Bogosian's 100 Monologues series.

The Old Globe opens its 2015-2016 Season with IN YOUR ARMS, a World Premiere dance-theatre musical featuring direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, Godspell, Lincoln Center Theater's The King and I and South Pacific) and original music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island; two-time Oscar nominee for Anastasia). The production begins tonight, September 16, with an opening slated for September 24, and runs through October 25, 2015.

From her beginnings as a member in the Footlights troupe alongside Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry, Thompson's credits and filmography have exploded, as well as her presence as a stage-performer. On the upcoming 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards, Emma Thompson is nominated for Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her work in SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET.

Indie film darling Jillian Leigh's daring new play, Hooked, will have its World Premiere at this year's inauguralLos Angeles Theater Festival in Hollywood at The Ruby Theatre, opening tonight, September 16, 2015 for eight performances through Friday, September 25, 2015.

A father and son pairing started this week in The Woman In Black, one of the most exciting, gripping and successful theatre events ever performed, now in its 26th year in the West End in a production revisited by original director Robin Herford.

Today in 1986, Me and My Girl opened at the Marquis Theatre, where it ran for 1420 performances. Me and My Girl is a musical with book and lyrics by Douglas Furber and L. Arthur Rose and music by Noel Gay. It takes place in the late 1930s in Hampshire, Mayfair, and Lambeth. The musical had a successful original run on the West End in 1937 and very successful revivals in both London and New York in the 1980s.

Josefina López, the award-winning playwright and co-screenwriter of Real Women Have Curves and Founding Artistic Director of CASA 0101 Theater in Boyle Heights, CA will receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree in the Arts from her Alma Mater, Columbia College Chicago on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at which time López will deliver a Commencement Address to the Class of 2015. López graduate with a B.A. degree in Liberal Arts from Columbia College Chicago in 1993.

After a 20-year absence from Manhattan cabaret, Roslyn Kind resurfaced last year with a sold out run at 54 Below. The show was a hit and audiences so adored her, she probably could have extended a month. At the time, she was fresh off a world tour that that began at Brooklyn's Barclays Center and famously included her nephew Jason Gould, acclaimed jazz trumpeter Chris Botti, and half sister Barbra Streisand with whom she sang some duets. The Brooklyn native returned to 54 Below for the first three days in May and again her show was a hit under the masterful direction of Broadway's Richard Jay-Alexander
