The Boulevard Theatre, located at 2252 South Kinnickinnic, closes its 25th anniversary season with 'TWO 2 GO,' a double-bill of two rarely staged one-act plays, including celebrated playwright George Bernard Shaw's delightful marital romp A VILLAGE WOOING and noted playwright Thornton Wilder's soulful comedy PULLMAN CAR HIAWATHA. These rarely produced works both deal with travel, romance, love and 'transition' and will play from Wednesday, April 20, 2011 through Sunday, May 27, 2011.

The long overdue London premiere of the Broadway musical The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd, directed by acclaimed West End and RSC director Ian Judge, and designed by three time Olivier Award winner Tim Goodchild, opens for a four week limited season at the Finborough Theatre on Tuesday, 7 June 2011 (Press Night: Thursday, 9 June 2011 at 7.30pm).

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival (www.baltplayfest.com) announces our seventh public reading 'Marathon' of the 30th season on 12 March at the Audrey Herman Spotlighters Theatre, 817 St. Paul Street, Baltimore, MD 21202. Beginning at 11:30 a.m. plays to be read are: Veteran's Day, by Judith Glass Collins, followed by inconstancy, by Bob Barr, at 1:00 p.m., and Familiar Strangers, by Margy Kahn at 3:00 p.m. After each reading there will be a discussion of the script with the playwright, director and actors. The event is free, and the general public is encouraged to attend.

Silver Spring Stage presents Noel Coward's sophisticated comedy Private Lives, directed by Ty Hallmark and Stephanie Svec and produced by David Dubov and Jacy D'Aiutolo, where Elyot and Amanda, once married and now honeymooning with new spouses at the same hotel, meet by chance and reignite the old spark. Anderson has adapted the much beloved character for the stage, and Blacklick resident Jackie Bates will undertake the role of the unconventional and adored Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle. The rest of the cast will be rounded out by Chris Storer of Columbus, Ian Short of Gahanna, Liz Wheeler of Grove City, and Michelle Schroeder of Bexley. With the exception of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle, the all-adult cast will play multiple characters, including the roles of the badly behaved children and their beleaguered parents.
