The 2016-17 Ruth Easton New Play Series at the Playwrights' Center concludes April 3 and 4 at 7 p.m. with public readings of 'Minneapolis/St. Paul' by Core Writer Lee Blessing.

WSR is excited to bring the work of award-winning playwright George Brant to the stage with the Chicago Premiere of "Any Other Name." WSR's production of the dark comedy opens March 17, 2017 at Raue Center For The Arts and runs through April 2, 2017. WSR will then transfer the show to Chicago's Theater Wit, where "Any Other Name" will run from April 21, 2017 through April 30, 2017.

Rivendell Theatre Ensemble (RTE), Chicago's only Equity theatre dedicated to producing new work with women at the core, announces the Midwest premiere of Grizzly Mama by George Brant. The production, directed by RTE member Megan Carney, runs September 8 - October 15, 2016, at Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, 5779 N. Ridge Avenue in Chicago.  The press opening is Monday, September 12 at 7:00pm.
