Buffalo audiences are in for a rare treat. The Broadway revival of the hit musical MISS SAIGON soared into town last night in what can only be described as a spectacular evening of theatre. First seen on Broadway in 1991 at the height of the megamusical phenomenon, MISS SAIGON continues to resonate with age. Those familiar with Puccini's opera MADAMA BUTTERFLY will not be disappointed in the updating of the story by composer Claude-Michel Schonberg and lyricists Richard Maltby and Alain Boubil.

Indian Ranch announced that it will open its 2019 Summer Concert Series with Lee Brice on June 15. George Thorogood and the Destroyers will bring their Good To Be Bad Tour to Indian Ranch on July 21. Two of the country's most exciting young stars, Zawe Ashton and Charlie Cox, will join Golden Globe, Olivier and Evening Standard Award winner Tom Hiddleston in The Jamie Lloyd Company production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 5 March 2019 (press night 13 March) for a strictly limited season ending on 1 June, directed by Jamie Lloyd. The production forms the culmination of the historic Pinter at the Pinter season.

The ASCAP Foundation honored R&B and pop icon Valerie Simpson with its George M. Cohan Friars Foundation Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Melinda Wagner with The ASCAP Foundation Masters Award at the 2018 ASCAP Foundation Honors tonight. The Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera presents the North American premiere of its heralded Voices of the Mountains program at Carnegie Hall in New York in a one-night-only performance on November 14, 2018. Voices of the Mountains is an interactive, multimedia concert featuring projections and inspired by the music of the Polish Highlands. The evening includes works by esteemed Polish composers Wojciech Kilar, Karol Szymanowski, Henryk Miko?aj Górecki, and Mieczys?aw Kar?owicz, in modern arrangements by the young Polish composer Jan Smoczy?ski.

In March and April 2019, The Cleveland Orchestra and Music Director Franz Welser-Most embark on their nineteenth tour together, with eleven performances scheduled across Asia in seven cities: Taipei, Macao, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuhan, and Beijing. The tour's repertoire features four big musical works, two from the 19th century and two from the 20th, with Beethoven's "Emperor" Piano Concerto (No. 5) with soloist Daniil Trifonov and Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony, alongside Richard Strauss's epic tone poem Ein Heldenleben and Prokofiev's enigmatic Symphony No. 3. dick clark productions and ABC, in partnership with YouTube Music, today announced that multi-platinum selling band Panic! At The Disco will pay tribute to legendary British rock band, Queen, with a special performance of the award-winning hit, "Bohemian Rhapsody." This performance will take place at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia as part of the "2018 American Music Awards." The song, written by Freddie Mercury for the band's 1975 album A Night at the Opera, remains one of Queen's most popular and is often considered one of the greatest rock songs of all time. Rami Malek, Joe Mazzello and Gwilym Lee, cast of the upcoming 20th Century Fox Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, will introduce Panic! At The Disco's performance live from the awards show in Los Angeles. Nominated this year for Favorite Artist - Alternative Rock, this will mark Panic! At The Disco's first performance on the AMAs. The Accordion Festival, a five-hour finale to the Accordions Around the World series at Bryant Park, features the the wide range of this often-overlooked and little-known instrument.
