Hamingson), Producer Mark Russell and The Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP President and CEO Sandra Gibson) will begin performances for the 2011 UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL on Wednesday, January 5. This highly-anticipated 12-day festival, running through January 16, is committed to tracking new theater from across the U.S. and around the world.

The new Broadway production of George Bernard Shaw's play Mrs. Warren's Profession will star Tony Award winner Cherry Jones as 'Kitty Warren' & Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins making her Broadway debut as 'Vivie Warren.' The production will be directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd St). The cast will also feature Adam Driver as 'Frank Gardner', Mark Harelik as 'Sir George Crofts', Edward Hibbert as 'Mr. Praed' & Michael Siberry as 'Reverend Samuel Gardner'.

Tickets for the upcoming Broadway production of George Bernard Shaw's play Mrs. Warren's Profession go on sale to the general public on July 30. The production, to be produced by the Roundabout Theatre Company, will star Tony® Award winner Cherry Jones as Kitty Warren and Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins making her Broadway debut as Vivie Warren and will be directed by Tony® Award winner Doug Hughes at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd St). The cast will also feature Adam Driver as Frank Gardner, Mark Harelik as Sir George Crofts, Edward Hibbert as Mr. Praed and Michael Siberry as Reverend Samuel Gardner.

The Village Light Opera Group celebrates its 75th season with a new production of the musical classic, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. NEW YORK: The Village Light Opera Group (VLOG), one of the country's premiere theatre companies specializing in both operettas and Broadway musicals, will present FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts on May 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16 in a new production directed by Tony Spinosa, who is also recreating the original Jerome Robbins choreography.

Author Phil S. Dixon Holds Book Signing Following TYA's 'MONARCHS' 5/15

Following Theatre for Young America's 2pm performance of The Monarchs of KC on May 15, 2010, author Phil S. Dixon will be available at 3pm to sign copies of his new book about Buck O'Neil entitled, John 'Buck' O'Neil, The Rookie, The Man, The Legacy, 1938. The book signing will take place in the lobby of the H&R Block City Stage located on level B in Union Station at 30 W. Pershing Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64108. The book will be available for purchase at that time, as well as two other of Mr. Dixon's works: Phil Dixon's American Baseball Chronicles, Great Teams, The 1931 Homestead Grays, Volume I and Wilber 'Bullet' Rogan and the Kansas City Monarchs.

Matthew White's production of Sweet Charity, which completed its sell-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory last month, will open at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 23 April 2010 with press night on 4 May and is currently booking until 8 January 2011.
