FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY opened its Winter 2012 season with the return of Lucie Arnaz in a show based on her new CD 'Latin Roots.' In an eclectic celebration of her musical heritage, Arnaz playfully wended her way through pop south of the border sounds, enduring American standards, enhanced with a Brazilian accent or basted by a Bossa Nova beat and she took on some of the fiery Latin classics of her father, Desi Arnaz. Acclaimed stage and screen actress Jane Kaczmarek (Broadway's Lost in Yonkers and television's Malcom in the Middle) takes on the role of Margie Walsh in the Geffen Playhouse production of David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People. Helmed by prominent local director Matt Shakman, an Emmy Award winner for his television directing work and current artistic director of LA's Black Dahlia theater, the West Coast premiere of Good People, presented by One West Bank, begins in previews on April 3, 2012 and officially opens in the Gil Cates Theater at the Geffen Playhouse on April 11, 2012.

Just announced is official word that Thea Sharrock is set to direct Danny DeVito and Richard Griffiths as the ageing vaudevillian team Willie Clark and Al Lewis in Neil Simon's award-wining comedy, The Sunshine Boys. Previewing from 27 April with press night on 17 May, The Sunshine Boys is booking at the Savoy Theatre for a strictly limited run until 28 July 2012. The Sunshine Boys has designs by Hildegard Bechtler with lighting by Neil Austin and sound by Ian Dickinson for Autograph. Further casting will be announced shortly.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre has just announced complete casting for Lost in Yonkers by Neil Simon, the final production of the company's 2011/12 season. Directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, performances begin at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Tuesday, March 13th, 2012. Opening night is Thursday, March 22nd at 7:30pm. Performances will continue through Saturday, April 14th.

Acclaimed stage and screen actor Jon Tenney, last seen at the Geffen Playhouse in David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow and best known as Agent Fritz Howard on the Emmy Award winning crime series The Closer, takes on the role of Mike Dillon in the Geffen Playhouse production of David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People.

According to Deadline.com, stage veteran Mercedes Ruehl has joined the cast of HBO's 'Luck' as a series regular. Ruehl will return as 'Julietta Caligari' in this second season.

The Broadway play Red comes to Berkeley Repertory Theatre in March, staged as a valedictory by Obie Award-winner Les Waters as he departs the Bay Area to take the reins at Actors Theatre of Louisville. John Logan, the Oscar-nominated author of Aviator and Gladiator, won Tony and Drama Desk Awards for this feverish 90-minute drama. Now Waters and two exceptional actors bring this powerful play to local audiences. Red begins previews on the intimate Thrust Stage on March 16, opens March 22, and runs through April 29.
