According to TV Line, actor and former THE WEST WING star Richard Schiff will join the cast of ABC's new fantasy drama, ONCE UPON A TIME. Schiff will play King Leopold, the father of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and a denizen of the Enchanted Forest. The character will first appear in the show's 11th episode.

According to Peter Jackson's Facebook page, roadway veteran Lee Pace will join previously announced Cate Blanchett, and Ian McKellan in the Upcoming big screen adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's THE HOBBIT. Pace will play Thranduil. Filming is set to begin in February in New Zealand, as confirmed by MGM, Warner Brothers, and New Line, and Lord of the Rings director and Oscar-winner Peter Jackson will direct the two-part film.

Lead producer Michael Cohl today announced the complete cast for SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, which begins rehearsals this morning. Directed by Julie Taymor and featuring a book by Julie Taymor and Glen Berger, and new music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark will begin previews at Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street) on November 14, with opening night set for December 21.
