AMC has viewers covered this holiday season with “AMC Best Christmas Ever,” its largest slate of holiday programming ever featuring 35 films and 18 specials, airing all day, every day. Beginning Monday, November 26 through Christmas Day, the monthlong programming marathon will offer up more than 600 hours of holiday-themed movies, specials and family favorite films, as well as the television debut of Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas is You (2017). AMC will be the exclusive home to Christmas favorites including Elf, The Polar Express and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation as well as 12 classic Christmas specials from the legendary Rankin/Bass production company, including The Year Without a Santa Claus, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, Jack Frost, Rudolph's Shiny New Year and Frosty's Winter Wonderland, among many others.

The Adelphi Orchestra will feature Randall Mitsuo Goosby, Violin (First Prize winner of the Adelphi Orchestra Competition, First Prize winner of the Sphinx Competition ) in the rarely performed and defiantly triumphant Korngold Concerto for Violin in D major, Op. 35. Randall Goosby's performance of the Korngold Violin Concerto will be the centerpiece in a program entitled "From Vienna with Love" which will also feature Strauss's Overture to Die Fledermaus and concludes with the beautiful Symphony no 2 in D major by Brahms. The concert,  conducted by Richard Owen on Sunday October 27th at 7PM will take place at  NYC's historic Good Shepherd - Faith Presbyterian Church located in the heart of Lincoln Center. Following the critically acclaimed release of 'Lost West End Vintage' (highlighted in The Sunday Times as an 'Essential New Release') and 'Lost West End Vintage 2', Stage Door Records are pleased to continue the album series with 'Lost West End Revues' to be released on November 30th 2018.

5-STAR THEATRICALS opens its 2018-2019 season with the Thousand Oaks premiere of SHREK THE MUSICAL

La Jolla Playhouse 's Hundred Days is now on stage! The production has a book by The Bengsons and Sarah Gancher, music and lyrics by The Bengsons, is directed by Anne Kauffman, with movement direction by Sonya Tayeh. Nominated for a 2018 Lucille Lortel Award, Hundred Days runs in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Forum through October 21.

Opening this month at the Sutherland School Of Arts is Shire Music Theatre's production of a holiday classic from the writer of the classic, The Music Man!, and based on the movie of the same name, Miracle on 34th Street features a book and score by Meredith Willson.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced that Jeanna de Waal will portray the title role in its upcoming world-premiere musical Diana, by the Tony Award-winning Memphis team of Joe DiPietro (book and lyrics) and David Bryan (music and lyrics), directed by Playhouse Artistic Director and 2017 Tony Award winner Christopher Ashley and choreographed by Tony nomineeKelly Devine. The production will run February 19 - March 31, 2019 in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Theatre. The complete cast and creative team will be announced at a later date.

HISTORY MATTERS/BACK TO THE FUTURE presents an evening of scenes from women's plays of the past, performed by renowned actors April Matthis (Lear; The Sound and the Fury; April Seventh, 1928), Maryann Plunkett (Blue Valentine, The Apple Family Plays) and Jay O. Sanders (Blindspot, The Apple Family Plays) directed by Joan Vail Thorne, founder of History Matters/Back to the Future.

A sentimental, old-fashioned musical can be corny and slow in the wrong hands, but this production is as fresh as the heather on the hill.

My grandfather's rice bowl, the only surviving heirloom from Sargodha - the ancestral home and lands from which my father's family lived for centuries - became the catalyst for this project. Seven metals were used to make this bowl: iron, copper, zinc, brass, mercury, gold and silver. Over 100 years old, it is a symbolic reminder of the past.

Coming in May, City Theatre Austin proudly presents the critically-acclaimed stage drama All My Sons, Arthur Miller's masterpiece about one man search for the American dream - and the ultimate destruction in his pursuit. This gripping portrait of a life and family won the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award and Antoinette Perry Award when it first opened in 1947 and, with its relevance, is still being produced in theatres today. It plays May 11 - June 3 and is directed by City Theatre guest director Tracy Arnold.

The NYTB REP program with a World Premiere by Richard Alston has now added encore performances of three of Jerome Robbins' rarely seen ballets: Septet, Concertino and Rondo, recently performed in sold-out shows in The Harkness Dance Festival 2018 at 92Y. The program will feature live music for all works.
