Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts Announces 2011-2012 Performance Schedule

This fall, the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College presents a series of events featuring world-class dance, music, and theater programs, from September through December. All programs take place in the acoustically superb Sosnoff Theater.

Jeremy Jordan, John Dossett Lead Paper Mill Playhouse's NEWSIES; Full Cast Announced!

Paper Mill Playhouse just announced the cast for its season opener, the premiere of a new Disney stage musical, Newsies. Revolutionary newsie Jack Kelly will be portrayed by Jeremy Jordan of Broadway's West Side Story and Rock of Ages. Tony® Award nominee John Dossett will play newspaper giant Joseph Pulitzer. The show begins performances on Thursday, September 15. The official press opening is scheduled for Sunday, September 25.

Producers Ben Sprecher and Louise Forlenza, in association with Tony Fusco and Larry Feinman, and by special arrangement with/and based on the Vereinigte Buhnen Wien GmbH production, announced that the new musical REBECCA, based on the classic novel by Daphne du Maurier novel, will open on Broadway Sunday, April 22 at a Shubert theater to be announced. Previews will begin Tuesday, March 27. Sierra Boggess (currently starring in Master Class, The Little Mermaid, Love Never Dies) is in negotiations to play the role of 'I.'

COMEDY CENTRAL To Present Ugly Americans, Futurama Panels At Comic-Con

COMEDY CENTRAL's animated series return to Comic-Con with an 'Ugly Americans' panel on Friday, July 22 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and a 'Futurama' panel on Saturday, July 23 from 12:15-1:00 p.m. Interviews with 'Ugly Americans' talent and producers will be held in press Room 21 from 2:30-3:45 p.m. on Friday, July 22.

The Moody Blues to Embark on Cross-Canadian 'Precious Cargo' Fall Tour

The Moody Blues will embark on their first cross-Canadian Fall tour in more than a decade, playing in 16 markets around the country. The Canadian tour titled 'Precious Cargo' will begin on September 15 in Halifax, NS and will continue through October 8 in Victoria, BC (see tour dates below). The band will be touring in support of their new upcoming Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) greatest hits collection which will be released in two editions on July 19, as part of their highly successful Icon series.
