VH1's five-time Emmy Award-nominated documentary series BEHIND THE MUSIC returns to focus on eight of today's most influential icons in the music world.

Court Theatre kicks off its 2012-13 season with August Wilson's Jitney directed by Resident Artist Ron OJ Parson.Jitney is the fourth play in Wilson's Century Cycle to be produced at Court Theatre under Parson's direction. The production will run tonight, September 6 - October 14, 2012 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Avenue. The press opening will be Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 8:00 p.m.

David Zwirner presents an exhibition of new paintings and drawings by Los Angeles-based artist Toba Khedoori, on view at the gallery's 525 West 19th Street space. Khedoori joined David Zwirner in 1994 as one of its first artists, and this marks her sixth solo show with the gallery. The show will be on view from September 7 through October 27, 2012, with an opening reception on Friday, September 7th from 6 to 8 p.m.
