When Aladdin, directed and choreographed by Raymond Marc Dumont, opens on August 22, the four performances at Maine State Music Theatre will mark twenty-six years of collaboration and fifteen original shows created by the team of Marc Robin and Curt Dale Clark. These two highly respected artists – Robin, director, choreographer, Artistic Director of the Fulton Theatre and Clark, actor, director, Artistic Director of Maine State Music Theatre – have devoted a considerable portion of their indefatigable creative energy to composing, writing the books and lyrics for a series of musical fairytales designed to introduce new audiences to the magic, make believe and miracles that theatre can offer to the young and young at heart.

Robert Cuccioli and Glory Crampton will reunite at a special gathering for the official release of the new cast recording of the York Theatre Company production of Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick, and Sherman Yellen's musical Rothschild & Sons on Monday, July 25 at 6:00pm at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Presented in association with Legacy 36, LCC, the multi-autobiographical musical revue starring The Legacy Dancers, directed and choreographed by Mary Six Rupert, will take place at Lang Recital Hall, Hunter College (68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenue), and tickets for the 3:30pm and 6:30pm performances are now on sale.

While this is a frightening setting for those living with the constant fear of deportation and divided families, this existence hardly registers with the charismatic politician Dale Jenkins, a principal character in David Lozano and Lee Trull's collaborative, political play, Deferred Action.
