Circle Theatre proudly presents the regional premiere of Something Intangible, a new play by Bruce Graham. Preview performances for the show are Thursday, June 24; Friday, June 25; and Saturday, June 26 (matinee). The production will officially open Saturday evening, June 26 at 8:00pm, followed by a post-show party with the cast & crew.

The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2010 with an impressive assembly of classics, cult favorites, and much beloved films. Japan Society laments the loss of renowned butoh dance performer and choreographer Kazuo Ohno, one of the movement's founders and pioneers. Ohno died of respiratory failure June 1, 2010, at 4:38 pm (JST), in Japan at the Yokohama Sen-in Hoken Hospital in Yokohama City, at the age of 103.

The Tony Award-winning acclaimed string band, The Red Clay Ramblers, will make a rare New York appearance at City Winery on Friday, June 25. Now in their 38th year, The Red Clay Ramblers are a North Carolina string band whose repertoire reflects their roots in old-time mountain music, as well as country, rock, New Orleans, bluegrass, gospel, and the American musical. The City Winery concert will feature selections from their new North Carolina-focused CD, Old North State as well as well as songs from their three-time Broadway hit, Fool Moon.
