The Old Globe will present a one-night-only event, Barry Edelstein In Conversation with Steve Martin, on Thursday, August 4 at 6:00 p.m. This sure-to-be-intriguing chat between Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein and playwright/renaissance man Steve Martin, will be held in conjunction with the world premiere of Martin's new play METEOR SHOWER, an adult comedy.

Good Chance have today announced two Encampment events at Somerset House on the north bank of the Thames this summer. In addition, they are delighted to confirm award-winning actress Cush Jumbo and prize-winning journalist Yasmin Alibhai-Brown will be included in the Encampment line-up at Southbank Centre, as previously announced, taking place inside the iconic Good Chance Dome, direct from the Calais 'Jungle' refugee camp from 30 July to 7 August.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) is one of 40 nonprofit, professional theatre companies chosen to participate in the 2016-17 Shakespeare in American Communities program. OSF will receive a $25,000 grant award from Arts Midwest, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, in support of efforts to expose underserved students and teachers to the works of William Shakespeare.
