From May 8 to June 6, 2015, SpeakEasy Stage Company will present the New England Premiere of MOTHERS & SONS, a timely and touching new play about love, loss, and family, written by Terrence McNally.  

The sixth season of CONTACT!, the New York Philharmonic's new-music series, concludes with "Focus on Japan," Friday, June 5, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, led by Jeffrey Milarsky in his Philharmonic debut. The program co-presented with Met Museum Presents, the live arts series at the Metropolitan Museum, will feature modern and contemporary works by Japanese composers and a work influenced by Japan: Takemitsu's Archipelago S for 21 players; Messiaen's Japan-inspired Sept Haikai, with Stephen Gosling as piano soloist; the U.S. Premiere of Misato Mochizuki's Si bleu, si calme; and the World Premiere-New York Philharmonic Commission of Dai Fujikura's Infinite String.

Surprise! This brand new, non-equity national tour of GUYS AND DOLLS---currently onstage at Orange County's Segerstrom Center for the Arts for a limited week-long run through April 19---is a winning, nicely-nicely done charmer. Of course, it helps a lot that this traveling production comes equipped with Broadway-caliber sets and costumes and, most satisfying of all, a really talented, engaging ensemble cast.

In a tribute to Bach's 330th Birthday, this intimate concert tells the musical story of a day at the Bach Family Household and features AF veteran musicians alongside Young Artist Apprentices in a true multi-generational tribute to Bach.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording for the new stage production Honeymoon in Vegas was recorded October 13, in New York City, and produced by composer and three-time Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown and Emmy Award winner Jeffrey Lesser. Honeymoon in Vegas: Original Broadway Cast Recording will be available digitally and at the Nederlander Theatre in time for the musical's November 18, first Broadway preview performance and at nationwide retail January 13, 2015.

Profiles Theatre announces that actor Richard Cotovsky returns to the role of the Driver in Profiles Theatre's holiday season revival of Hellcab by Will Kern. Directed by Profiles ensemble member Eric Burgher, a cast of 34 joins Cotovsky as the beleaguered cab driver, a role he played for over two hundred performances during the world premiere run.
