Based on the 1997 animated film 'Anastasia', Anastasia the New Broadway Musical, bowing on broadway in 2017, is an entertaining whirlwind of sight and sound. It will make you laugh and cry. You will undoubtedly leave the theatre with a lasting impression of grande theatricality and how it weaves its magic into our humdrum lives. Plus, it is based on fact. Currently onstage at the Hollywood Pantages until October 27 only, this Anastasia has the makings of a great big hit.

The Summer Festival, August 8-18, 2019, is the culmination of 5 weeks of preparation by Young Company students and their professional Directors, Music Directors, Choreographers, Stage Managers, and Design Teams. Performed by actors in grades 4-12, The Young Company Summer Festival includes 6 fully staged productions: family friendly Freckleface Strawberry The Musical, hilarious murder mystery Curtains, and the toe tapping classic Singin' in the Rain. High School Students continue the fun with the madcap musical farce Lucky Stiff, as well as musical satire How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and finally the action-packed adventures of She Kills Monsters.

The Offbeat Broadway franchise continues with its fifth installment of the popular musical theatre tribute/take-off. OFFBEAT BROADWAY 5 returns to Theatre on the Bay with its original three highly talented performers at the forefront, a well-respected director at its helm, and a repertoire of delightfully entertaining musical numbers from a variety of shows.

Wife, mother, author, social media content creator, and recovering addict Tiffany Jenkins will be performing at the Capitol Center for the Arts (Concord, NH) for one night only on Friday, June 21, 2019. Best known for her blog, Juggling the Jenkins, and hilarious viral Facebook videos, Tiffany speaks shamelessly, openly and honestly about her past and addiction, as well as her struggles with depression and anxiety. Her new live performance show Tiffany Jenkins: This Show Is Awkward AF is an opportunity for her supporters to spend some quality time with Tiffany as she shares stories not-previously covered elsewhere, as well as hang out and answer audience questions in a candid evening full of humor, compassion, and friends.

NYU Skirball will present Skirball Talks: Broadway To Main Street, a free theater panel hosted by Laurence Maslon, with Ted Chapin, Thomas Z. Shepard and Kurt Deutsch, on Monday, November 19 at 6:30 pm. The Talk is presented in conjunction with the publication of Maslon's newest book, Broadway to Main Street: How Show Tunes Enchanted America (Oxford University Press). Held weekly every Monday at 6:30pm during the academic terms, Skirball Talks hosts visionaries from the worlds of politics, the arts, sciences, academia, and more. RSVP is necessary.

The Animals and Children Took To The Streets twists together retro imagery and animation with cabaret and mime for some elegantly sinister storytelling.

Canadian singer/songwriter/actor/author Alan Doyle will be appearing live in concert at the Capitol Center for the Arts (CCA) in Downtown Concord, NH on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 7:30PM. He is best-known as the lead singer of folk rock band Great Big Sea. Opening for Mr. Doyle is Whitney Rose.

Civilized, The Second City and the historic Montalban Theatre will present the first of a series of comedy events on September 28 and 29, with live shows featuring iconic material from The Second City archives, original sketches about modern cannabis culture, and The Second City's world-famous improvisation.

The concept, a collaboration between Komische Oper Berlin and London-based performance group 1927, (Suzanne Andrade and Paul Barritt), was utterly unique, and Cincinnati Opera's production values were top notch.

In May, June & July the NPR Program "Broadway to Main Street" hosted by Laurence Maslon which airs Sundays at 3PM on NY/Long Island NPR-member station WPPB/88.3FM will feature interviews with Tony Award-nominee & Sweeney Todd star Carolee Carmello (May 28); a retrospective of The 1967 Tony Awards (June 4); a 2017 Tony Awards Special on Tonys Sunday (6/11) with recordings of all the top nominees for Best Musical and the best musical performer nominees including Bette Midler, Josh Groban, Ben Platt and more; a centennial tribute to Ella Fitzgerald (6/18); a Hello, Dolly! themed show (6/25) with musical selections from Carol Channing, Pearl Bailey, Ethel Merman, as well as selections from the new Bette Midler recording; and for a special July 4 holiday weekend show with original 1776 star William Daniels (July 3).

A generous grant from the Ira and Leonore Gershwin Trusts Philanthropic Fund in the amount of $10,000 has been awarded to support the "Broadway to Main Street" program hosted by Laurence Maslon which airs Sundays at 3PM on NPR affiliate NY/Long Island station WPPB/88.3FM.

DRUMLine Live, the show-stopping attraction created by the musical team behind 20th Century Fox's hit movies "Drumline" and "Drumline: A New Beat," parades onto the Capitol Center for the Arts mainstage on Today, March 7 at 7:30PM. This show is one of several William H. Giles Series performances during the CCA's 2016-17 season.
