            Lincoln Center Theater, in association with Jujamcyn Theaters, has announced that Stephanie J. Block, Christian Borle, and Andrew Rannells will head the cast of its new production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical FALSETTOS.  FALSETTOS  begins previews Thursday, September 29, and opens on Thursday, October 27 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48 Street).

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE announces its 50th Anniversary Season, which will include three world premieres commissioned by Yale Rep and two contemporary masterpieces.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of A. R. Gurney's "The Cocktail Hour," a funny and touching, quasi-autobiographical story about a playwright who writes a new play that presents an unflattering picture of his family, on Monday, March 14, at 7 p.m.  The play will be directed by Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $20 each.

The Repertory Collective confront the Banksters of Wall Street in the world premiere one-man play The Reckoning, Pecora For The Public written by Neil Thomas Proto, directed by Arne Zaslove and starring Bob DeDea. This new play for the '99%' immortalizes Italian-American Ferdinand Pecora's valiant effort to expose the malignant and deceptive practices of Wall Street's most elite financiers and bankers including JP Morgan Jr., based on actual transcripts from the 1933 United States Senate Banking Committee hearings to determine the root causes of the 1929 stock market crash. Multiple award winner Geoffrey Rush returns to the Sydney Theatre Company (STC) stage in KING LEAR in Neil Armfield's interpretation of the iconic work. Rounding out STC's 2015 program, this pared back production brings the performance and the message to the fore, unfettered by elaborate design.

Don Henley will launch the 'Cass County Tour 2015' following the September 25 release of Cass County, his fifth studio album and first solo album in 15 years. Henley will perform at the Fox Theatre tonight, November 7 at 8 p.m. Singer-songwriter Shawn Colvin will open the concert.

New Zealand native Hayden Tee will assume the role of Javert beginning Friday, January 29 in Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new Broadway production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's LES MISERABLES, now in its second year at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Tee comes directly to Broadway from the new Australian production ofLES MISERABLES, for which he has received wide acclaim. Earl Carpenter will give his final performance as Javert at the matinee on Sunday, January 24 before departing to star in the upcoming Manila engagement of LES MISERABLES.

Catherine E. Coulson, a stage and screen actor best known for her role as The Log Lady in David Lynch's legendary TWIN PEAKS, and who made her artistic home with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for 22 seasons, passed away early this morning in her home after a battle with cancer. She was 71.

Tim Dang, Producing Artistic Director of East West Players in Los Angeles, CA, is the 2015 recipient of the Zelda Fichandler Award, an award to recognize an outstanding director or choreographer who is transforming the regional arts landscape through imaginative, brave work in theatre.  The $5,000 award, given by Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation, heralds both accomplishment to date and promise for the future, and lauds deep commitment to a community.

Joe Dowling, the Guthrie Theater's recently retired artistic director, was honored at the 2015 Ivey Lifetime Achievement Award, the celebration of Twin Cities theater, on September 21 at the Historic State Theatre in downtown Minneapolis. Critically-acclaimed actor Mikell Sapp received the Emerging Artist Award.

The Old Globe opens its 2015-2016 Season with IN YOUR ARMS, a World Premiere dance-theatre musical featuring direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, Godspell, Lincoln Center Theater's The King and I and South Pacific) and original music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island; two-time Oscar nominee for Anastasia). The production begins tonight, September 16, with an opening slated for September 24, and runs through October 25, 2015.
