La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment in association with the Laguna Playhouse are proud to present the second production of La Mirada Theatre's 2009-2010 season of shows, the critically-acclaimed co-production with The Laguna Playhouse of MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS, written by Ron Hutchinson and directed by Andrew Barnicle.

Schreiber and Johansson Set for A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE

Tony® Award-winner Liev Schreiber and Golden Globe nominee Scarlett Johansson, in her Broadway debut, will star in Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE directed by Gregory Mosher on Broadway at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Performances begin Monday, December 28, 2009 and the official opening is Sunday, January 24, 2010. The limited engagement will run for 14 weeks only.

Recently named in the '100 Greatest Singers of All Time' list by Rolling Stone magazine, soul and gospel legend Mavis Staples possesses one of the most recognizable and treasured voices in contemporary music. From her early days sharing lead vocals with her groundbreaking family group, The Staple Singers, to her powerful solo recordings, Mavis Staples is an inspirational force in modern popular culture and music. Her last appearance at Massey Hall was with the Blind Boys of Alabama in December of 2004. This concert marks the debut of James Hunter.
